  1. Yup, any 1155 cooler that u can manage to cram in there
  2. Dang thats a solid price, If it were me personally i would defiantly put a better cooler just to lower temps a little. Even if the cpu isnt running hot ill always say yes to better cooling. The 2600 is the same socket so those coolers i linked will work just the same. Also you'd need one of those adapters @Herman Mcpootis linked. Then just take out the old cooler, put some paste, and install the new one. Oh and dont forget the little protective cover if the cooler has one.
  3. Im assuming that cpu is a i5 2400 based on what the spec sheet said. So i found a couple LGA 1155 coolers on newegg. Arctic Alpine 11 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186070&cm_re=cpu_cooler-_-35-186-070-_-Product Cooler Master generic looking cooler https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA50M2CS3106&cm_re=cpu_cooler-_-9SIA50M2CS3106-_-Product I would go with the Arctic cooler just because it looks a little more beefy and has some good reviews. It doesn't look like theres a ton of room in there so i would go with this. Another thing i would try to get if i was you is try to mount some sort of fan at the front if possible to get some cool air in there.
  4. Hi everyone, I plan on upgrading my pc with the h500p mesh in the gunmetal color soon. The reason i haven't bought one yet though is I can only find the H500P mesh available in the white color on either amazon or newegg. I see the original h500p in gunmetal but not the mesh version. I want the mesh version so I dont have to buy it separately, also the glass wobble, and the top panel screw. Basically everything Gamers Nexus pointed out. Does anyone know if I buy the original ill actually get the mesh version? Or has the gumetal version not been released and the only way is to buy the original and then buy the mesh cover separately? Thanks
  5. From what I've read with 1st Gen ryzen chips the overclock were only slightly better with the x370 boards vs b350 ones. I don't plan on overclocking the 2600x one I get it because I just don't know enough about it tbh. Plus I got this board brand new for 60 bucks on newegg a few months back when I had planned on buying a 1600x. And as far as the addressable lights go, I don't need to worry about them right? I'll be fine with the regular 4 pin ones I currently have? Also would I just buy 2 rgb splitters and plug them into each other so I would have enough connections to plug all the rgb devices into?
  6. I plan on revamping my system in the next month or so with a ryzen 5 2600x and a h500p mesh. I already bought the motherboard which is a msi b350 tomahawk plus. My friend is gonna let me borrow his 1300x to update the bios. So anyways one of the main reasons I chose this board was it matched my color scheme and it bad built in RGB lighting. I have a msi 1060 so it'd sync up. I also plan on buying a 140mm cooler master rgb fan for exhaust and possibly a rgb cpu cooler because why not. My motherboard has 1 rgb header and I have the 2 front fans, the exhaust fan, possibly a coolers fan, and I also have 2 rgb strips to add some extra glow. I'm pretty new to this rgb stuff as I'm coming from a fx 8350 and my current motherboard doesn't even have sata 3. So I don't know what exactly these 4 pin rgb connectors are capable of. Will I be able to somehow sync all these rgb devices with rgb header if I was to buy a splitter? Would it have enough power? If not what would I do to make them synced through software? If it really came down to it the main things I want synced up are the 2 front fans and the 2 strips. But it would be nice to be able to buy another fan or so and sync them. Also final question, the rgb strips I have now are the deepcool 350 rgb strips. I keep hearing about something called addressable rgb and from what I understand it means the LEDs can individually be different colors or something. Could someone give me a little rundown of what that means exactly and if im going to need addressable rgb strips or what I have now will work the same? Thank you.
  7. I have a fence around my house so they either leave it outside the garage, outside the gate, or throw it over the fence. Good thing they didn't do that with my 1060 or I'd be fired up.
  8. Im about 500 miles away in college, ill ask if i can get him to open it up and send me a picture. If not ill get one when i go down for thanksgiving in a few days. I also really wanna see what it looks like.
  9. Thought id share some pictures of the hyper 212 evo i got delivered a few hours ago. They placed it right outside the garage door and when my parents got in their car to leave, they felt a bump and a noise they said sounded like a dog getting run over. To their surprise it was my hyper 212 evo i ordered for my brothers build. I talked to them and they sent out a new one and gave me a free month of prime. Still thought id share just so everyone could get a good laugh out of it. Also to be cautious that there might be a package behind your car because of genius FedEx workers.
  10. Yeah, I haven't even messed with it since then. I keep getting frustrated and cant seem to find anything that works right. I have it enabled but its still tearing. The only thing i can seem to get to not tear is disable it and use v sync. Which limits me at 60fps
  11. I have a ROG GL502VM gaming laptop. When I received it i learned it had G sync which i completely overlooked. After trying to use it in GTA V, i found it wasnt really helping and just shut it off and used V Sync. Later learning what G sync was supposed to do, i tried it again and still no luck. With V sync i got pretty much a 60fps lock with it only dipping to 58fps somehow. Then just right now i decided id try it again and still no luck. Plus now i cant seem to get the settings i had when it seemed to be locked at 60fps with V sync. Is there something im doing wrong? Even when i turn on G sync and turn off V sync in GTA V, I still get dips into the 30s and screen tearing. (Had posted this in displays the other day and got no response, if needs to be merged, that is fine, as long as i can get some direction, thanks)
