  1. I have An Asus r7 360, and it sucks lol.. mainly because of heat... i hit 95c on DOOM.... so underclock and loud fan to improve lifespan.... wanting a polaris gpu, because of efficiency and so i can stream my gameplay on youtube well... hope i win the giveaway, either would be a great upgrade.. could give my 360 to my sister for her pc... its on intel hd graphics lol
  2. I'm using a Dell generic keyboard, it sucks, a couple keys don't register and I also would love this keyboard because I could program it blue my setup is blue
  3. troublehooting yes, i changed it now to a good fan curve.
  4. Hello Raymond here again lol. Um so ive made posts about trying to find the problem with my gpu overheating. I finally found and resolved the issue. So after reinstalling all drivers and used software, Adding a fun under the gpu to help cool it, doing a complete system scan And finally reinstalling windows completely, the issue still persisted. The problem was the software that came wiht the gpu! gpu Tweak II doesnt work with my card. I noticed that with my card, if i dont even launch gpu tweak, just monitered the temp using HWMONITOR the temps were completely normal, idled around 40 c and playing steel ocean @ 1080p got to like 61 c. So i use MSI afterburner to OC, UC and fan control, and everything works amazingly. the picture below is a slight underlcok just to know if the software worked and didnt go silly, it worked perfectly.
  5. okay so instead of taking the card apart what ive done is install 2 extra fans on my pc, one in the front to help the other 2 intakes, and one on the bottom of my pc case in an opening to pull air up and blow directly on to the gpu. The temps are on the screenshot. DOOM 2016 1080p @ low-medium settings on both LOWEST CLOCKS POSSIBLE ON GPU TWEAK II before fans test- 104 c and shutdown right at end of match. after new fans test- reached 92 C for a second but averaged 91 c still super hot for this gpu, i will switch to NVIDIA for now on lol
  6. i will look into this thank you for the help and suggestions hopefully i can get it to work without shipping it back to asus for repair
  7. do you mean the bracket that holds the display ports? and i see 4 screws from the pic, at the moment i dont have thermal paste and am not near my computer
  8. ive seen this video before Jayztwocents pretty awesome. The only problem i have is I cant find any videos to take off the cooler of the 360 specifically, even thogh it seems as if only 4 screws hold the cooler on to the pcb. I also dont know if taking off the cooler will void the warranty i have for the card. i just dont want to send it off and wait 6 weeks (basically my whole summer, im a high school student) to get it back
  9. ive checked all fans, both fans on the gpu are spinning, tho at certain rpms you can hear a slight hum, i believe thats because they are fluid bearing fans. Ive even made a super agressive fan curve and underclocked the card as low as gpu tweak II lets me and it still overheats
  10. it shuts off my computer when it reaches 103-104 c. and my cpu does perfectly fine, a fx 6300 @ 3.8 ghz never goes over 60 c
  11. Hello im Raymond, and im a owner of a ASUS AMD R7 360 OC V2 graphics card. I made a post before trying to figure out thy the card was overeating at idle, but after reinstalling windows, it idles around 40-45 c. Now im having the problem of the card reaching 104 c when gaming. the game im playing is calles "steel ocean". not a super graphically intensive title but still can stress intel hd graphics. Ive had the card for almost 2 months. ive cleaned the card with compressed air, and made sure all the connections are good... why is my gpu getting so hot?? i have pretty good airflow, 2 exhaust 120mm fans and 2 intake 120mm fans.
  12. Oh I understand that lol.. Just didn't know if the program needed the card installed to find its drivers.. I've never used the ddu
  13. quick question... Do i need the r7 360 installed to remove the drivers, do i need both to uninstall the r7 360 drivers, or just the gt 630?
  14. the r7 360 is the first(and only until the 630) gpu my computer has ever used, the 630 was just put in last night because the r7 360 kept doing the same thing when i tried it again with a cold room. the 630 in it now runs perfectly fine at idle about 41-43 c. I will try the DDU you mentioned, hopefully it works and thank you for helping me i dont want my whole summer gone waiting for it to be repaired by Asus especially if its a software issue
