Logitech LS21. They may not be much at all but I like the sound they produce. I've also messed with the EQ in Realtek Audio Manager so they sound even better than normal. The bass is a bit lacking, due to the small(ish) subwoofer, but as long as you don't crank them too much the sound doesn't distort.

I started A-Levels yesterday. After the first couple of days you begin to get into a routine. Remember, you did well enough in GCSEs to get into college, so you'll be fine. Also it's important to remember the college is there to help you through A-levels, not just throw work at you.

After further digging trying to get it to work again I'm biting the bullet and (hopefully) doing a clean install. Thanks everyone. -
W10 Login Background Changer locked me out
funnysambam replied to funnysambam's topic in Troubleshooting
I didn't back it up beforehand, would it have backed up before the registry was changed automatically? -
I installed Windows 10 Login Background Changer from https://github.com/PFCKrutonium/Windows-10-Login-Background-Changer/blob/master/README.md After applying the settings I restarted my computer and now cannot log in. The screen flickers between a Windows 10 loading screen and then my lock screen very quickly. If I try to log in it goes back onto the same loop. I have a Windows 10 recovery USB, which I can boot from, but it doesn't see any startup problems. I've tried booting in safe mode but that gives me the same problem in that it simply won't get past my lock screen. I can also access the command prompt through the recovery USB. Is there any way I could remove the file from my Windows 10 installation and then log back in to the computer? Alternatively, is there a line of code I could put into the command prompt to rectify the problem?

As much as I support Apple, all the stuff about them being "special" is total snake oil. The employee needs a stern talking to because he's lying about products to try and get sales.

They're replacing something, they weren't specific whether they would replace the switch or the whole board. Anyway, we'll see. Thanks for your help, everyone. -

Help! Snapped a Cherry MX Red- Corsair K65
funnysambam replied to funnysambam's topic in Peripherals
I'm contacting Corsair as I type this. It's temporarily held on with superglue until I get an answer from Corsair. It hurts me even more! -
As the title suggests, I knocked my keyboard whilst moving it and my left-hand CTRL key snapped away from the body of the switch, taking the + shaped part with it. Pictures attached. What do I do now? Is there any way to replace the switch? Do I have to send it to Corsair to be repaired? Any help would be appreciated!

Woah! This just changed everything. Thanks for suggesting it!

I don't think I can quite stretch to a 970 or a R9 290, unless the prices drop to around £200. Also the price of the 280x at the moment is just too good to miss, even if it is a slightly older chip. Looks like I'll be getting the Black then. Thanks.

Quick question, As I'm ready to buy a R9 280x, and I'm decided on XFX, I need to know whether to pay the extra money and go for the 280x Black Edition, or the standard DD 280x? What are the differences between the two? Is the Black Edition worth the extra, or can I achieve the same performance by overclocking the standard Double Dissipation 280x? Many thanks
