Your phone will support up to 2TB (when that gets released). It supports SDXC, so it supports everything up to 2TB. Other than the usual cycle of getting cheaper MicroSD doesn't appear to have a giant leap coming any time soon.

As for the Extreme vs the Extreme Pro, the only difference is a very slight edge in speed in some cases with the Extreme Pro. Near as I can tell there isn't a write endurance difference between the two, or at least no manufacturer advertises it and nobody has tested it. Best guess is assume it will last the warranty period plus a bit.

When I had my 9207-8i in my Win10 machine for testing, Windows grabbed a driver automatically that worked (not the best one, but it still worked). I certainly didn't have to REGEDIT anything. I suspect if it's showing up as an NVMe device, something went wrong.

What was your process for flashing it? The only way I eventually got SAS2FLASH to work was through the UEFI shell (I'd have to dig to find the instructions I used). Also, the newest BIOS file for that card is only available in one package (the MSDOS one) on their website, but can be installed by any version of SAS2FLASH, so make sure you have the newest version (20.00.07.00). See here, under Downloads > Firmware.

I think you're going to want to start testing in other machines then. The card might be bad (the first one I bought had a bad SAS port, so it's not impossible), or the X99 board might not like it.
