  1. Found some 580s for about $120. Think I'll go for one of those. Thanks, everyone!
  2. Okay, thank you! If I decide to go with used, what should I look out for?
  3. So just what's cheapest when the time comes?
  4. Is a 570 really enough? UserBenchmark says that it's slower than a 970. Which really isn't enough either according to what I've heard.
  5. Oh, forgot to link a PC Part Picker list, here it is (shortend) in text: CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 280L 122.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($38.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4 GB Superclocked ACX Video Card Case: Cooler Master Cosmos II ATX Full Tower Case Power Supply: Cooler Master 1200 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($249.89 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Dell U2410 24.0" 1920x1200 Monitor Monitor: Asus VP228H 21.5" 1920x1080 60 Hz Monitor ($108.60 @ B&H)
  6. Okay, so I recently bought a (used) Rift 2500 Swedish crowns (about $250). I knew that I would have to upgrade my current 760 4 Gb (Here is my parts list btw: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tLc4RJ). But I have a few options for which one that I'll pick. 1. My friend's old 760, and run them in SLI. This is my cheapest option, but if the performance would be crap, I would rather go with something else. 2. A used card. Think like 1660, 1060. Which is around 2000kr ($200) 3. Same as no.2 but new. (about $50 more) Then something kinda off-topic: Some people that I've talked to have said that the rest of the system isn't powerful enough (I know that I need more RAM). Is this really true, the Steam VR benchmark says that the GPU is the only "b-word". I haven't tried Oculus's own... Thanks in advance
  7. I'm also in the market for a new GPU. And I've found that a used1070Ti is a pretty good value around 3500 Swedish crowns (around 360 USD).
  8. Yeah the 6850k is the best at around 500 dollars. If you go to the 6900k you get 2 extra cores but for 200 extra.
  9. Ram does not impact performance in most cases. So if you like them buy them!
  10. Yeah it can run 4K, unless you have like a 6 year old CPU then it van run it.
