Just wow, a lot of people were asking for more character customization and when DICE finally gave them that, they started complaining because female skins exist. Don't like female skins? Don't use them, it's simple as that. I also love the fact that this game is getting hate for being historically inaccurate, when BF1 was just as inaccurate and got no hate. I'm not a historian, but AFAIK, soldiers did not run around with Hellriegels and Automaticos in WW1. At the end of the day, it's only gaem, y u heff to be mad?

 

Also, are people forgetting that this game?:

  1. Has no Premium Pass
  2. Is not pay to win
  3. Has no loot boxes

Now, should I preorder the standard edition or the deluxe edition?

    Soooo, DICE added WW2 weapons to BF1...

    Why are people not complaining about historical accuracy?

    Disagree 100%. The weapon inaccuracy was forgiven because people understood there would be no gun variety and everyone would have to you bolt actions. But putting women in the game and removing Nazis is going completely outside the realm of core historical accuracy which is why people were mad.

    Fully Automatic weapons in WW1 is also outside the realm of historical accuracy, but people didn't complain about it. Removing Nazis? Yeah I agree, it doesn't make sense. But I still don't get why having female skins as an option is such a bad thing. Based on the number of people complaining about this, I doubt that many people are going to use them anyways....

     

    If they made you use female skins, then yeah, I'd agree that it makes no sense.

    People complain about everything and anything these days. It's getting a bit ridiculous. These are games, not life-altering matters. 
    And just to throw it out there; when presented with the option to play as a male or female, I usually choose female because A. female heroes are bad-ass, and B. because they look better, IMO. lol xD

    I hate SJWs, but I also don't get why people are so upset by the fact that BFV has female skins. Don't like them? Don't use them, simple as that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

     

    It's not like they are forcing them down your throat, if they did, then yeah, I'd probably be annoyed as well, but having them as an option is not really a bad thing....

    I had no interest in the game to begin with.

    My biggest issue is the removal of Nazi imagery.  It just doesn't set well with me.  If we ignore the heinous crimes of the past, we are bound to repeat it.  Is it unpleasant?  Oh yes.  But that's the point.  We should always be aware of what humanity is capable of, and not just live in a bubble.

     

    But, if you plan on buying it and enjoying it, then by all means, go ahead.  I have no issues with that.

    I think it's best to understand where people's concerns are coming from and not all of them are "SJWs".
