Me slamming YouTube on twitter gets more and more justified by the day.

I really hope that Floatplane becomes a viable alternative.  While I personally don't know Linus, I know that he has more integrity then these asshats.

I will somewhat repeat what I said to YouTube.  While I do consider YouTubing a real job, those that say it isn't have a point.  Most "normal" jobs give some level of protection, such as unemployment or a union.

What's going to happen when adpocalypse 4.0 happens?  Will YouTube help protect those that are affected?

I think we all know the answers to these questions, and the fact that YouTube MANUALLY REVIEWED THE VIDEO, and put it in trending shows just how much they care about their small users.  They will willingly throw them under the bus to appease the few on top.

Their actions disgusted me far more then Logan Paul did.  They were willing to jeopardize everyone else so they can appease their "golden child".

Youtubers, like many professionals, are self-employed. And a byproduct of that is having little job security.

But I completely agree Youtube is a dick.

@bob51zhang The only problem with that, is most who are self employed don't need to give a large portion of their potential income to a large corporation.

And then having said corporation throw them under the bus to appease the few fat cats.
