so i upgraded from a 990fx 8350 system with a 7850 to a 8700k with strix z370e. Now i need to get a new card. I will be buying it used. I do want to sim racing with vr. Mostly assetto corsa with mods, and acc. i will still do 1080p games but anything that can run vr shouldn't break a sweat with a 1080 system. so what is the bare minimum, what is a good recommended card to go with. i was looking at 970 but if a 980ti will be better i wouldn't mind waiting for it. SLI is out of question. Thank you guys in advance.
