    Best bit of the phone has to be the software tweaking that can be done out of the box. The fact, as always, you reviewed the phone and didn't just list the specs then compare specs of other devices is great. Even after watching a few G3 videos already I think I got the most information from this one. Well done LMG.

    You may need to use this fix posted by Johan Rensenbrink on the Windows forum @answers.microsoft.com to bypass the "The update is not applicable to your computer" error... "1. Place and rename the MSU file in an easily accessible place, e.g. C:\8preview\preview.msu 2. open command prompt in administrator mode. 3. Type: Expand –F:* c:\8preview\preview.msu C:\8preview\ 4. Type: DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:c:\8preview\Windows8-RT-KB2849636-x64.cab Replace the "x64.cab" on the end of step 4 with -x86.cab" for 32-bit versions and "-arm.cab" for RT versions. Your text may be corrupted in the Windows 8 store for the 8.1 download page on restart, but the Windows 8.1 preview should download once the servers become less overloaded." With any luck Microsoft will fix all the bugs and the system will be running correctly by tomorrow evening.

    Is it still worth changing my RAM then if I'm only going up by 267Mhz ? The 1600 kit I'd get is £48 ($74)

    Well, I'll only be saving £10 if I went for some 1600Mhz G.Skill RipjawsX for example. Would the 2400Mhz RAM not leave more headroom for overclocking the CPU in the future?

    I'm going to be upgrading my system soon from a stock speed i5-750 to a potentially overclocked i5-4670k. I know that everything I have is compatible with what I'm getting I was just wondering if there would be a benefit to me upgrading my RAM too? The RAM I currently have is two 2x2GB kits of OCZ Platinum 1333Mhz which have slightly mis-matched voltages. The kit I'm potentially replacing them with is a 2x4GB Kingston 2400Mhz HyperX Beast kit. I'm from the UK so I'm willing to spend the (up to) £70 on RAM if it's worth doing. Any advice?

    I bought a MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr a little while back and I was intending on RMA-ing it because the fans would ramp up to 100% even when doing nothing and there was no way to override it. I have since found the cause and definite fix for the problem and thought it would be helpful to post it on here in case someone else buys/has bought the card with the same issue. There is a small diode on the bottom of the PCB which is supposed to be there to protect the card from overheating, that is the thing which causes the issue. You can remove it any way you wish (I used a pen-knife) and by doing that it will make the card work normally. MSI know about the problem and are supposed to keep the warranty valid on cards which have had this diode removed.

    I think I am one of the very few PC users/gamers that actually like the Xbox One. I can totally see the appeal if you have a living room to put it in and don't do THAT much gaming.

    I had a contract once. Never again. I always buy my phones used maybe a month or so after they're released to get a lower price and then sell them on again just before the value drops off dramatically. Then I pay monthly (£10/$15.35) for my allowance but it's not a contract so I'm not tied to anything.

    I had the Samsung Omnia 7 for 18 months before I got my SGS3. It was one of my favourite phones, loved the build quality and WP it just felt dated. I wanted to get a Lumia 920 but couldn't :( I really wished that more big companies developed for WP because it could have been so much better.

    SGS3 w/ CM10.1 Nightly builds. Only removed the stock one because I was bored of it. It's nice to mess with more settings and such but the feeling of getting an update every day is so nice.

    See if you have multiple versions of flash running at the same time by going to about:plugins (just type it in the onmibar). If you have the pepper one as well as a secondary one, disable the secondary. I don't know if this will solve your problem but it certainly solved a similar problem for me.

    Do you guys know where there's a place to get good icon packs for android? I'm pretty fed up of the childish ones on my GS3.

    My DX card used to pop and found that having the smart volume turned on made the card pop every time the audio changed. Whether or not it's a similar issue to what you're having I don't know but I thought I'd let you know.

    I've had a problem for a while and I don't what it could be, any chance of some help, it'd be greatly appreciated? Whenever I play a YouTube video at over 480p and in full screen my computer tends to crash. It's happened a couple of times on other sites but mainly YouTube. In the time that the issue has occured I've... Re-installed Windows 7 Installed Windows 8 Updated graphics drivers Updated Chrome Changed audio drivers Changed monitor Uninstalled Chrome extensions I've ran out of idea's short of changing my RAM/Graphics Card. I don't want to be stuck with using IE for YouTube :(

    Personally, I think somewhere around the 8.5" range is ideal and I don't see why there aren't more tablets at the size. Aside from that owning a Nexus 7 would lead me to say 7" :P

    You all know that it's not getting a final release until at least early 2014 right? The Galaxy Nexus ROM they'll be releasing soon will almost certainly not be daily driver material anyway. The only thing that will let Ubuntu Phone compete with the likes of Android is if somehow they get Android apps to work on it, otherwise it will just be another fail OS.
