As the title says I have a tough choice. I want to upgrade my CPU from 5930k to one of these two Intel Xeon E5-2650 V3 10 core 2.3Ghz turbo to 3.0 $999 Microcenter or get a 5960X $899. This one I can overclock to 4.2+ the system I have at the moment is this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fmypt6 Just a side note this system is not for gaming it will mainly be used for After effects and Premiere 4K-5K workloads and my 5930k will be put into a small second system to assist with renders. I am kinda stuck at the moment with this upgrade unsure of what one of these two would be best for the next few years.
Well if you have $2,000 for graphics cards and not $12,000. You can always rock the x4 R9 290x 8GB Vapor X cards and get some insane performance for $470 per card, along with that sweet vram.
The EOS M is also great for video and photos and with a 18-55 lens its only $358.90 my teacher uses it as a C camera besides his 5D MIII and is comparable to the T3I.

Thanks for the advice I will most likely go with the 4930k for the ability for 64 gigs of ram, and the 12 threads are a big help it seems to be best option for me. ill post my build when I get around to buying and building it next month or so.
4930K for After Effects CC / C4D / Premiere Pro CC
I am wondering if the new 4930k would be my best bet for the price for my new editing rig or would I be fine with a 4770k.
