  1. I took the keycaps off from the area where water was spilled and I put it upside down. If it ever happens just make sure you unplug it asap and give it a few days to dry out.
  2. I just let it dry out for about 30 hours, and it worked.
  3. Just thought I'd update you guys, I plugged it in this morning and everything was working fine! I guess I'm really lucky it didn't short.
  4. I didn't really think any water got in it, there was only around 5 small drops on the metal of the keyboard and there aren't many places for water to get in. Thanks for the advice guys, I'll see if I have any rice to put it in.
  5. Well today I accidentaly knocked over a glass of water I had on my desk, most of the water just went on my desk and I cleaned it up, but a tiny bit got onto my corsair k70 which was turned on. I took off the key caps that had water drops under them and shook the keyboard a bit and got rid of all visible water. I plugged it in and all of the keys on the keyboard do random things now, like the W key spams sssaasssssdsssdddss, the enter key (not near the water) turns on voice narration in windows. Should I leave it to dry for a few days and see what happens? I hope I don't have to get a new one as I've only had it 2 months
  6. Looks like a solid build, if you want to save money you could get an i5 and only 8GB of ram. Also check out the Korean 1440p monitors, I have one with my dual 780ti's overclocked to 120hz and it's amazing!
  7. Like others have said there's a good chance you could have a loose cable. I have an adapter on my display port cable which gives it weight and it used to make my monitor go black sometimes.
  8. What ShearMe said, get some headphones from a company such as audio technica, sennheiser, beyerdynamic or any other company that makes "real" headphones.
  9. For Christmas I got a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Premium 250Ohm headphones along with some amazon gift cards. I currently have a motherboard with asus's supreme fx and I believe it supports up to 600Ohm headphones. The headphones are plenty loud using the current onboard sound but I was wondering if I ordered a FiiO E10 would I notice better sound quality as well? Thanks in advance! EDIT: Just noticed the FiiO E10 is $45 more on amazon.ca than amazon.com... If there is a similar option that is cheaper on amazon.ca let me know.\ The highest I can go is $100. I saw this, is it any good? http://www.amazon.ca/Topping-TP30-Performance-Digital-Amplifier/dp/B005D7SKWK/ref=sr_1_17?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1388006616&sr=1-17&keywords=fiio
  10. Working on getting some more pictures, I cracked the sd card in my camera so I need to get a new one The build is finished now and I have overclocked to 4.5ghz but I could only get the ram stable at 1866mhz. GPU's are at about 1300mhz with +300 on the memory. The GPU's run at around 47 degrees on full load 30-35 on idle. CPU is 35 idle and 50 at full load. Here is a valley benchmark:
  11. I managed to fix it by bending my 24 pin cable a lot, it was very stiff and was pulling the connector out of the socket a bit. I feel very stupid now, but at least it is alive...
  12. I just tried pressing the reset button, nothing happened at all. It feels like the motherboard isn't receiving power because the lights on it are supposed to be on if it has power. The PSU works fine however...
  13. I just finished putting my new build together and when I go to power it on the motherboard doesn't light up, beep or anything. I've tried two different 24 pin cables, the PSU works because I used it to leak test my loop and it worked fine. I'm not sure why it isn't working, does anybody have any ideas? I don't want to have to tear out my whole watercooling setup and get a new mobo The motherboard is the rampage iv extreme black edition and psu is an axi 1200w. The first time when I plugged it in the light on the start button of the motherboard was on but when I pressed it nothing happened, the pump, fans or case leds still didn't turn on.
  14. I'm in Canada and for $90 a month I get this:
  15. Finally got the waterblocks, so I installed them and now my loop is currently leak testing! The EK sli thing I ordered didn't work with my blocks so I had to just cut a really short piece of tubing and and squeeze it in. Now I just hope all of the parts work fine for when I boot it up tomorrow.
