  1. No I dont need PoE at all in fact if im going to need PoE I would probably buy like a 4 port PoE network Switch or something like that. TL-SG1024 from TpLink that switch is old I will try and find something more newer as for the router I will buy AX73 AX5400
  2. OK im going to get new switch and new router for my home Im going to get 24 port network switch and I have a Wall mount rack this what I have in mind: TP-Link 24 port Gigabit TL-SG1024 TP-Link Archer AX73 AX5400 Im having trouble in choosing the right switch, I dont have a lot of money so I cannot buy expensive stuff, I know there are other switches that have PoE or they are faster How is my setup? should I go for something like that? or do something else
  3. Im tying to install a NVME 256gb SSD XPG Gammix S5 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3x4 on a BIOSTAR B45M2 ver 6.2 and for some reason it does not detect the ssd, I cheked the manual about the M.2 Specification and this is what it says: The M.2 slot supports M.2 Type 2242/2260/2280 SSD module. When installing M.2 SSD module, please place the screw and hex pillar to correct position. • Ryzen series - Summit Ridge / Pinnacle Ridge / Raven Ridge: Support M.2 SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32Gb/s). • A-series APU - Bristol Ridge: Support M.2 SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) module. The funny part is that in the manual does not says it supports NVME Drives but in the BIOS it has a NVME option that you can go and see I think my only choice is to Bios Update and see if it fixes the problem
  4. The Noctua NT-H1 looks too expensive Arctic MX-4 is like half price of the Noctua
  5. I know that but what thermal paste should I use? any brand or is there something I should be looking for?
  6. I need to do some maintenance on my cpu and I'm currently using a H100 liquid cooler from corsair, I was wondering what thermal paste should I use, I been checking on paste and I see there are a lot of choices and some of them are too expensive for like 3g of paste
  7. I have a problem, my PC was working fine with no problems at all, I had to take off my GPU and I started windows with no GPU and I used my PC for like 30 min without graphics card, when I put it back into the PC the problems star happening. For some reason windows does not like the GPU I tried everything even trying to reinstall drivers, After boot it gets frozen after the windows logo and display output fails I even re-formated the PC with new windows and all updates available, and still it does not work. If I take of the graphics card the PC will start normally I know the grapics card is still working I did some system recovery and it was working but now it does not want to be back in the PC I tried to swap the GPU in the second PCIE and I get the same result. Im going to test the graphics card in another PC but I can be sure it still works
  8. I rather have a low noise fan all the time, instead of having the fan making too much noise in between 10 min all the time
  9. ASUS I dont want to use that program because it has all overclocking utilities that I dont need. I just want something to control the fan speed, by default its off and when it gets hot it turns on at high speed and it makes a lot of noise
  10. What is the most basic program I can use for fan control on my GPU, Ge-Force Experiences it doesn't have anything. I dont want to use AfterBurner, I just need a normal Fan controller that's it
  11. But also a surveillance drive is powered on 24/7 NAS optimized drive is more expensive, what drive would you buy?
  12. I want to know the difference between a surveillance vs a NAS optimized HDD . I been looking for Hard Drives Because I want to buy a Synology enclosure but I can see there are different types of HDD
  13. No i'm trying to build a low end PC I dont have the budget to go any high, and also that system is going to run only 1 program and that's it
  14. ok so there is no difference after all is the same, it's just the way it connects Right?
  15. What I want to know if there is a difference between a normal 2.5 ssd or a M.2 ssd the specs are almost the same and also the same price Kingston A400 120G Internal SSD M.2 2280 SA400M8/120G PNY CS900 120GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) is it the same? do I get any benefit?
