Flamez Rogue's Achievements

  1. right now running an old CM storm inferno, sennheiser game zero headset, and a corsair strafe. I wonder if feenix can be the one to finally make me abandon my 5 year old inferno? none others have so far
  2. Attempted that a few times, Alas nothing popped up and it requested me to put in the key manually.
  3. So I have a new(ish) Lenovo Y50. After doing a factory reset using the tool built into windows 8 while trying to just reinstall using an ISO I encountered a problem. Windows no longer has registration of my windows 8 key. Reading about this online I heard it was actually programmed now into a chip in the motherboard of newer laptops. Well after much searching I had no idea where to find this key. Talking to Lenovo technical support the woman told me to get support in retrieving this key I would need to buy a tech support package which was stupidly expensive for the sole purpose of finding my key and nothing else. Does anyone know where to find this key supposedly chipped on the motherboard? There is no stickers on the laptop or box with this information. TLDR: Where the hell is the windows key found on the lenovo Y50?
  4. Let's see if the ltt community knows this one. Was playing dark souls 3 no problem no worries. Suddenly... Tab out to stop a YouTube video from Playing. Mouse cursor is gone now. Will not scroll anymore in game or otherwise. Tried a full system reboot. Tried unplugging the mouse. It is recognized in Windows. Mouse cursor or scrolling is just gone. Can't navigate besides with tab and arrow key functionality. Any ideas? Edit: also cursor will not move in the uefi. Clicks, but no movement
  5. Ah okay, totally mixed up my metals there. For some reason I was thinking it was nickel.
  6. Wasn't sure if anyone knew if the EK Supremacy EVO contained nickel in the block or if it was more of a finishing material. My loop is full copper and if I'm not mistaken nickel and copper together cause corrosive results. I know EK does a lot of nickel in their blocks sometimes. https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-supremacy-evo-red-edition
  7. Those headphones since they look extremely subtle and elegant in design
  8. Edit: I'm sorry very simple user error fixed. I overestimated the issue
  9. I see. Well april fools joke theory debunked anyway.
  10. Direct from the FCC website. The US government is not going to pull an april fools joke... http://www.fcc.gov/document/fcc-increases-5ghz-spectrum-wi-fi-other-unlicensed-uses
  11. So I read this article and was quite interested right from the beginning. According to the article "Previous establishments of unlicensed airwaves led to innovations like garage-door openers, baby monitors, wireless microphones and Wi-Fi networks". The innovation of wifi itself obviously greatly increasing our wireless capabilities as a whole. With them opening more space it could lead to even more potential for innovation and quite frankly I'm super excited to see what gets dreamed up here. Among the details on the size and frequency of the airwaves being freed up is some details on plans to try to crack down on broadcasters increasing rates "more than twice the rate of inflation for the last 20 years, according to consumer reports". This sounds quite intriguing and I can't wait to see how this goes. What do you think? 12. Update: I mentioned I wanted to add in a poseidon. Well
  13. Ahem...so...I found the issue...after hours of diagnostics and troubleshooting...it was a faulty sata cable and I never even thought of trying that... I feel sad now
  14. I'm not currently but I have tried and no luck.
