The final splatfest is over, along with it, all updates for Splatoon 2.

I might have started pretty late into the life cycle of the game, I just got my Switch in November, but it's been a fun few months.  It's easily become one of my favorite games of all time.  Because of the game, and the huge community surrounding it, I've had many fun times and met many fun people.  Some people I consider friends today, and some have even become some of my closest.
The Switch alone has done a lot to rejuvenate gaming for me.  Splatoon 2 as a game has done so much more. 

While the game is now end-of-life, servers are staying up.  I plan to keep playing, at least from time to time.  No more events will happen and no more new content will be added.  But with items alone, I'm not even halfway through.  The community is still active and plans to stay that way.  I'm hoping I can continue having fun, playing games, and making friends with this game, and future installments into the series.
