  1. I guess no one has any ideas? I've also tried playing game like Overcooked 2 and with quick test, it did NOT seem to have this same issue which is very odd if you ask me.
  2. Hey everyone, Computer Specs: MSI B450i Gaming Pro AC AMD Ryzen 5 2400G Team Group Delta RGB 2x8GB 3200CL16 Corsair SF450 Gold WD Blue 500GB m.2. SATA SSD Silverstone ML05 I'm using it as a HTPC connected to a LG 4k TV. Now that it's not working properly I have my old laptop connected to the TV and it's working fine (as "good" as one would expect 5 year old Ultrabook to perform in 4k resolution). So TV seems to be ok. I built this little machine early July and it was working perfectly fine since couple of weeks ago when it started to show vertical lines during video playback making any videos unwatchable. It does it on Chrome watching Youtube, on the Windows 10 Netflix App or when watching lokal .mkv files with MPC-HC w/ madVR. If I disable Hardware Acceleration on Chrome, videos play normally, although 4k playback is now a little stuttery because I think 2400G isn't powerful enoug for that. I don't see this as a viable fix since I still want to use madVR with Hardware Acceleration. First thing I tried was to install latest drivers for the GPU. I downloaded the latest from AMD website and did "Clean installation" in the Radeon software. When that didn't help, I ran DDU in Safe Mode and wiped the GPU drivers and tried to install them again but still same issue. I then tried to lower the RAM speed from 3200 to 2400 but that didn't help either. I ran RAM Test (https://www.karhusoftware.com/ramtest/) for >1500% and it didn't find any errors. I also tried to install some Windows Updates that it was offering but it didn't help. I was checking the Update history around the time when the issues started and there was nothing there that would seem suspicious. Oh right bot CPU and GPU temps have been seemingly ok during all this testing never getting over 65 C (checked from HWiNFO64). So now I'm officially out of ideas. I think the CPU might be broken somehow? It is so weird that this behaviour just started without any warning signs. It was working fine the night before and then the next morning it's like this. Anyone got any hot tips?
  3. Didn't know there was a 3400+ for S939. I had 3500+ which was 2,2GHz stock and I had it with eXtreme overclock of 2625MHz with that same Zalman cooler. 3200+ was 2GHz and 3000+ was 1,8GHz. Good 'ol Venice core. 3700+ was 2,2GHz as well but had twice the L2 Cache and used San Diego core. Then there was my dream 4000+ which had that bigger cache and 2,4GHz. I also had that motherboard. It had tiny chipset fan that would spin 6500rpm and make all the noise in the world. Funniest part? Disconnecting the power for that fan actually lowered my chipset temps! I suppose the fan itself was running so hot. It was my first desktop with X1800XL and 1GB of DDR which I later upgraded to 2GB and felt like I was bleeding edge. Good times were had with CS:S and CoD2.. Looking forward to seeing mor of this build.
  4. The day has finally come. I just saw link to these puppies on Fractal Design's Polish Facebook page. It seems that release just happened. Quick check to Youtube shows that there's only few videos about these from some small channels. Couldn't find any word from pricing though. Fractal Design Define C TG Fractal Design Define Mini C TG It is exactly what you'd expect, Define C and Mini C with TG window. Everything everyone has ever wanted. Images taken directly from FD website. Thoughts?
  5. You don't really create that kind of difference with just paste change. I'd say you just got it mounted better on the second time around. And you can pretty much take 20c out of the Prime temps and you'll get the temps it'll run under normal gaming. Good that you got it figured out all the same.
  6. Well because it's not true? If the goal is to move as much air as possible and there are no restrictions for it, air flow oriented fans will do it better than pressure oriented. Why would there even be AF fans if they are pointless?
  7. So you're still saying that "SP is better for moving air in every single situation"?
  8. You're just wrong. What difference does it make for a exhaust fan where the air goes? It's still going out of the case. And AF fans will move more air than SP fans in open environment. Let's look at specs from Noctua site for example:NF-F12 Airflow 93,4 m³/h NF-S12A Airflow 107,5 m³/h The difference comes when you put something infront of the fan. For AF optimized fan, this drops the amount of air it can move a lot more than it does for SP fan. But as I said, in my case there isn't anything anywhere close the back fan. So there is no need for SP fan, the goal is just to move as much air out of the case as possible. But to be honest I think even for intake fans, people shouldn't buy pure AF fans. Even fan filters create quite a bit of restriction so SP fans are justified.
  9. My chassis has a place for exhaust fan and it doesn't have any fan grill or dust filter or anything. Tell me, why would I not put air flow oriented fan in that spot?
  10. #GloriousW2MasterRace B) Doesn't get the attention it deserves, probably because you can't buy it in North America? Your project is a bit more ambitious than mine. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
  11. http://www.cooltek.de/en/jonsbo-powered-by-cooltek/w-series/131/w2 Comes with silver color and has window option. Edit: I don't know why I thought you were looking for silver color. Well anyway, worth a look.
  12. You can fit Thermalright True Spirit 120M in that case. Couple that with Noctua NF-F12 which you can probably just run ~250rpm the whole time with processor like yours and you will get inaudible CPU-cooler. Probably will be just fine with stock fan as well.
  13. In US you will find this case as Rosewill W2 if they decide to add it to their catalog. I hope they do since it's awesome and everyone should be able to enjoy it's awesomeness.
  14. Super Flower Leadex 650W or EVGA G2 750W You can get Leadex at 750 as well, it'll have same internals as EVGA. These are some high quality PSUs, check JonnyGuru for reviews. EVGA has 10 year warranty if that sort of thing matters to you.
