Leviathan7895 replied to Leviathan7895's topic in Phones and Tablets

Music tips/help for someone new to android?
Leviathan7895 replied to Leviathan7895's topic in Phones and Tablets
I think that my performance is handicapped since its an older phone(its has an arm cortex dual core with 820mb of usable ram) as for the music files i know they are all mp3's, which is supported and worked perfectly when i had like 20 songs loaded up. and i do have a couple rom's to try out, just need to install them. i might just use my iPhone as a music player if i can't figure something out, extra stuff in my pockets doesn't bother me. -
Hey Guys! so recently required an older Motorola droid 4 from a friend of mine so i could start using that instead of my old iphone 4.but there are some issues i need some help with working out. I have decently sized music library(about 1,800 songs) and that runs about 12.5/13ish gigs. since there's only 8gb usable on the droid i used my sd card for storage(and for reference my sd card is no slouch, its a samsung evo 32gb class 10). And this is where my problem resides. i have the music on the SD card no issue, but my phone cant even load the music. it worked fine for a singular album, but not my entire library. and I've tried some of the more popular music apps besides google's version, like poweramp, double twist, mx player, equilizer+, etc. they all just sit there or crash. would converting my music to a smaller size and format work to put on the internal storage? And would running cyanogenmod bring better performance to help with this issue since the "droid" version of android is kinda terrible(in my opinion) and my phone is rooted of that helps any. If you want anymore info just let me know! thanks guys

By PSU connector do you mean the SATA power? And as far as i know there isn't any switched power cables...perhaps you could enlighten me on what you mean? -
Power Supply causing my hard drive PCB to fail?
Leviathan7895 replied to Leviathan7895's topic in Power Supplies
That's what i was thinking. But my SSD is doing just fine and whenever i plugged my laptop's hard drive in the same connector it worked with no problems(from what i could tell) By connector do you mean like the SATA power,or do you mean something else? With burning all i'm aware of are the circuitry bits. And i guess the drive could be bad, although it worked flawlessly for around 9-10 Months -
So recently, the PCB on my seagate green drive failed. I took it off and there was some small parts on the circuitry(I'm not sure what they're called) that had burned up near the power delivery. I ordered a replacement one and the same thing happened to the new one. I was curious if my power supply(a Lepa G1000) could be at fault, overloading the circuits in someway. I know the wattage of my PSU is more than i need but i got from a friend who never used for cheap. Thanks for your time and consideration! This is the original PCB New PCB with the same circuit burned Comparison of the 2

OK. so i recently wanted to get some different ear tips for my flux in ear pro's which is difficult since the port is smaller due to the armature drivers. Westone also makes in ear headphones that use armature drivers and they sell a "fit kit" that has 5 pairs of silicon and 5 pairs of foam ear tips. These fit perfectly on the Flux pro's. The ear tips(in my opinion) are much better than the ones included with my flux pro's. The kit is around $15 USD off of amazon(link here; http://www.amazon.com/Westone-TRUE-FIT-STAR-Combo-Audiophile/dp/B00DD2BZRY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388438712&sr=8-1&keywords=westone+true+fit) The foam tips are aslo more supple and softer than the comply ones included Westone true fits compared to the stock ear tips The box that the ear tips come in, conveniently destroyed by me These are the tips that i'm currently trying out

I've never fully used OS X yet, maybe sometime soon. I really want to try some DAW's on it and see how it compares to the stuff on windows

With the white base coat already on the case i'd say there isn't a big need for primer. That's the one thing that rattle cans will have, always have to be patient to get the best coat.(i guess it goes for other painting processes as well). As for me, i just have bare aluminium to work with, so primer or bed coating for me

This is an awesome rig, nice job! I'm rather jealous, it puts the current state of mine to shame. ;) I like the fact that you're using both windows 8 and mac OSX. oooh and the name, love the name
