One of those dells had DOA USB ports, so I have some time to play with it. Very impressed with the i5 1035g4 so far. Just ran an apples to apples comparison against my 2700u and my 2700u got clapped in cinebench r20. The 2700u got 1195 and the i5 pulled 1435. Not bad for a $350 laptop with upgradability. The i5 is at stock and my 2700u might have had some battery optimizations, so I’m gonna rerun but I’m certain the 1035g4 will still destroy it. Anyone else curious about anything regarding the new 10th gen that they’d like me to test, or about the Inspiron 3493 in general?

Also just checked and my 2700u is actually running longer and higher boost than stock so it's got nothing left to give.

Damn, that's really impressive, do you know what the temps were? i know this is asking a lot but can you undervolt?

I am actually looking for a thin and light laptop with good battery life, 10th gen seems like a good balance.

@nerdslayer1 Ill be getting access to the machine again on thursday or so, Ill get temps and GPU performance and stuff then. I'll get undervolt results if you can point me towards a tool that isn't super hard to use, IIRC XTU stopped supporting mobile chips a while ago and that's all im familiar with.
