  1. I have an R9 280X which I'm sure is somewhat broken for some games keep crashing for no reason. So that's a good reason for wanting a fancy new card
  2. Rig: Debiguan Cpu: i5 4670K Gpu: r9 280X Ram: 4x4GB Score: 2.6
  3. I have an ssd already... but it's almost full! Everyone needs to know of the superiority of an ssd.
  4. Following an awful methodology in which I change bios settings as I see fit (because changing the sticks takes a long time), I ended up increasing the voltage by the smallest amount and some other things that shouldn't really do much. I don't really know what made it work but it did. So, yeah, useless post.
  5. They were running xmp. But that didn't work with 4
  6. Configuring memory frequence as "AUTO" apparently sets the same frequence there was before. Running at 1333 didn't help
  7. I can run 2 sticks at 1600MHz which is the speed it's supposed to run at. I might try running four at 1333 since I've seen it was default for some reason.
  8. I just bought 2 more sticks of ram (same two sticks I had). If I just install them my pc won't post and the led debug screen shows it's initializing ram constantly, then reboots, then loops. The two new modules work as long as they are the only ones in the board. My motherboard has many memory options but none I've tried so far have worked. What's going on?
  9. I've got to the point where I finally want a 1440p IPS display. I'm in spain so I think pricings are a bit wierd but my non korean options are: BenQ BL2420PT 24" LED IPS http://orwww2.benq.com/product/monitor/bl2420pt/ 399€ BenQ GW2765HT 27" LED IPS http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/GW2765HT/ 399€ Since the only difference that I can appreciate is the screen size, which do you think is a better choice? Of course, I could use pointers to other possibly better monitors. I am interested in korean panels it's just that the possibility of having dead pixels and having to deal with sending it back (if that is even possible) seems too much to handle. BTW, the pricing is somehow wrong right?
  10. Vessek - galof3 Original, right? https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy https://www.vessel.com/videos/G-DUjgUyY
  11. Shh, don't let microsoft see this
  12. That's the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me thanks! (and that's a joke, yeah, deal with it)
  13. No, it was doing nothing at all.
  14. Cause I needed a key, hence, I didn't have one for 7
  15. 3 days ago I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8.1. Everything worked (mostly) fine in windows 7, I just wanted to try it out and get a key to eventually upgrade to 10 (yeah, I needed a key). So, I clean installed it, installed all the drivers (which took longer than expected because some installations failed) and programs. Then I updated everything from windows update until it said everything was up to date. Then I started experiencing lags and pauses in my cursor. I check task manager and the memory was almost 100% in use and the C drive was 100% in use. Reboot, everything ok. Looked in the interwebs for what was going on, said it's a pre/superfetch thingy, I disabled both. For a while it's ok, then it happens again randomly. Then playing dota or something it crashes with the that is not funny at all blue screen that compiles data (says it's a graphic card problem). Then today a while ago, again playing dota just as I load the game the sound gets really REALLY loud and unclear. Reboot again. Play dota again same sound problem. Then crashes now saying it's a whea uncorrectable error. I check system files with sfc /scannow , finds nothing wrong. Also, loading webs is slower until I disable/enable the network adapter (works for a while). So what I really ask here (if someone knows a panacea to all of the above I'd love him forever and ever) is: what is different in windows 8.1 that messes everything up so badly? I'm really genuinelly intrigued. Thanks!
