  1. I have tried multiple hard drives. My original issue was my SSD failing so I tried that first. I also completely pulled the PSU and replaced it with another one. I believe I have eliminated the HDD(hopefully). My next question is, do you think it's worth buying another z77 MB for ~$100. Risking that the CPU was the problem all along. Short question. Is it more likely to be the CPU or the MB?
  2. Unfortunately no I can not enter the BIOS. Could a failing motherboard cause my SSD and HDD to fail like that?
  3. I'll try to list what I've experienced and done so far. Order of events: SSD broke(unrecoverable) replacement hard drive worked for 1day and broke(recoverable) computer now fails to boot to splash screen. Already tried: reset CMOS/replaced CMOS batt pulling all ram and video card and testing each one at a time. Tried two different PSUs tried onboard GPU and a different ext GPU reseated CPU Currently the computer powers the fans and spins the HDD but then powers back off and tries to boot again(endless loop). It will occasionally show the beginnings of the bios but then freeze. I assume it is either the MB or the CPU. If possible I'd like to try the motherboard only but I'm concerned it may be the CPU or both CPU and MB. SYSTEM: 3570k @ 4.4(h110 cooler) Gigabyte z77-something or other Matx board.(sorry I don't have it in front of me) 16GB Crucial RAM 4x4GB gigabyte 780 rosewill 750w 80+gold psu fractal arc midi r2 random hard drive(it works)
  4. I would mount this to my small tv to use in my office.
  5. Helped me take advantage of faster SSD. New but great product for playing single player games.
  6. I'm a fan of desktop replacements that aren't huge, loud, and power hungry; So i'm a fan of this.
  7. Fractal Design Arc Midi R2(or other great mid tower case) A great gift for a computer techie is a case. A great case is the longest lasting part of a computer build and can empower a builder to start small and end up with a massive full custom water cooled case in the end.
