  1. From what I remember years ago, the Thunderbolt Display only works on a Thunderbolt port and isn't backwards compatible with mini DisplayPort
  2. I would love this because my current projector is very low resolution and was previously owned by a smoker, which caused the image to have a blotchy yellow tint. Hope I win and good luck to everyone!
  3. I'm currently using an Apple keyboard and while I love it, an RGB keyboard would fit in better with the RGB ambient lighting in my room!
  4. Thanks for your help! I actually considered that, but then I remembered that my main computer (Mid 2009 MacBook used as a desktop connected to various peripherals) can't output anything past 1920x1200 (My laptop could, but the inconvenience of disconnecting and connecting to all the peripherals all the time would be annoying). Thanks for your help though, I really appreciate it!
  5. So I need a little guidance on a new monitor to replace this 1366x768 VGA-only TV mess, but there are so many options and I have a very limited budget. It will be used for video/photo editing and casual computering with a lot of video watching. Budget (USD): $100-160 (possibly up to $200 if the higher price is worth it) Requirements: - Available new from Amazon (US), Newegg, Micro Center - 1080p (or 1920x1200, but that seems out of my price range) - Matte - Decent color (or at least color that isn't tragically horrid) - VESA mounting holes (or an adjustable stand that elevates the monitor to a decent height) - At least one DVI or HDMI port Preferred brands: - Dell - Asus - LG - Acer Monitors I'm considering: - ASUS VE247H - LG 24M38H-B - Asus VE228H - LG 23MP47HQ - Dell SE2416HX (only thing it doesn't have is the VESA mount) If there is a monitor that has everything except the VESA mount I might be able to deal with that. Thanks in advance, forum people!
  6. I'd love the keyboard, because I would really enjoy having a mechanical keyboard. My Logitech K360 is great, but a mechanical keyboard would ultimately be better for my writing/distraction free computer!
  7. The only SSD equipped computer I have is my MacBook Air and I'd love to have an SSD on my main computer!
