  1. Did you just put the two pieces back together after after taking the first screenshot? If so, yes, you have to trust the pea/rice spread at some point- because reopening to inspect the spread will introduce air between the paste. If no, you are fine as is.
  2. Only apply to the die. Other than that, as long as the die is completely covered, you're fine. Because it's a gpu, the spread might be a little weird, so make sure you get the corners too, because it looks like the corners of the die in the first pic wasn't covered completely.
  3. Looks nice! I'd love to see the front!
  4. If you can at least get into the BIOS, you are golden. You'll have to use MFlash in your BIOS. The firmware update files should be here: https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H110M-ECO
  5. It does not matter which you use. SATA is standard. The only difference might be the slot speed, since there can be difference versions of SATA ports on the mobo SATA I, II, III. So in that in mind you would like the device to be set to the fastest port it can handle.
  6. Nope, it has no effect to clean it or leave it. I'd personally clean it just because it would bother me knowing its there, lol.
  7. Wireless will introduce some latency- it would make using the screen feel slightly sluggish as response times will increase and feel much more noticeable in a touch screen scenario when you expect 1 to 1 response with each action. I'm sure they do exist, but it sounds like it might be a bit of a hassle with very little benefit.
  8. Never really thought about the margins argument as to why they never got into the budget category. It make sense though. Interesting!
  9. I think the floor is the only place it can really go. Desk is a bit small.
  10. Yup! That's soldering flux. You can clean it off or leave it.
  11. Oh hey I saw your other thread. Yes, for a CPU, 70 is good and safe.
  12. It varies from card to card, google might be more helpful than I can be tbh.
  13. Acer Predator XB271HK 27" 4K UHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync Black/Red Gaming Monitor, 3840 x 2160 (4K), 100% sRGB Color accuracy, Tilt/Swivel/Pivot/Height Adjustable, Build in Speakers https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009890 I have the 2k version of this- it's wonderful. The bezels are super thin and recessed so it looks very clean. The stand could use some work, so I'd suggest a desk clamp stand like this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4FH1SK8899&cm_re=clamp_monitor_stand-_-9SIA4FH1SK8899-_-Product
  14. It's a bit high, but not dangerously so. I'd start being worried when it hits ranges of 85-90. I'd suggest adjusting your fan curve to be a bit more aggressive.
