  1. Being that you have an AIO cooler, do you have to disable the CPU Fan in the BIOS so it doesn't throw an error when it can't find it?
  2. I found this https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/fix-bad_module_info-error-windows-10/ ...not sure if it will work but its worth a try. Honestly I have not come across this issue myself so i'm just researching as I go here.
  3. Do you know what the BSOD Error is? Check the Windows Event Viewer to see what Errors have occurred.
  4. Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure until you try but from my experience I have always had better luck with a full Windows reinstall when installing new hardware like a CPU or MOBO. (I know you don't have to do this when installing a new CPU, its just what I like to do)
  5. Did you use the Media Creation Tool to create a new Windows 10 Install USB or did you just use the reset feature of Windows 10? If its the latter I would suggest creating a new USB Windows 10 Installation Media, wiping the drive and installing Windows that way. Just so the system is completely fresh with the new hardware.
  6. The 930m (mobile) is a low energy graphics chip that was designed for light video and image editing on the go. The U variant of the Intel Mobile Processors is part of the Low Energy family so to speak so not really meant for gaming.
  7. What PSU do you have? What are your temps like while gaming?
  8. Sounds like a thermal issue. When was the last time it was cleaned out? (ex. with compressed air, etc...). Run a program like HWmonitor to see what the temps are at idle and while gaming.
  9. I have a 770 and I have no issues with it. What is happening in your case?
  10. Have you reset the CMOS? Removing the battery for 30 seconds and putting it back in? EDIT: By battery I mean the BIOS battery.
  11. That what I was thinking originally but I just got the whole system so I don't really want to change the board or anything. I was however, looking at getting either the i7 980x or the Xeon X5650. For some reason I was thinking that getting the AIO and overclocking higher would be a better way to go then the new CPU but the more I think about it, getting a new CPU might not be a bad idea.
  12. Hello, I am looking into water cooling as I would like to overclock my CPU more then I already have (hoping for around 4.5GHz). I have never had a water cooler before so of course I have some questions. Do I need anything other then the AIO Cooler and thermal paste? I used to think you just put water in the loop (which I guess you can) but it seems it would be better to use a coolant of some sort for a better result. Any suggestions? I am currently using the "DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 300" air cooler and was thinking of going for either the "Corsair Hydro Series H105" (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835181060) or "Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2" (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835181103). At the moment I am running my i7 920 @ 3.7GHz Idle temp is between 48c ~ 50c 100% load hovers around 70c I can overclock higher then that but when I was running @ 4GHz my idle was around 58c So in the end i'm just curious as to which one of these coolers would be good enough to push my overclock a little more? And if anyone has any other recommendations I am all ears, I have about $150 but can push it to $200 if needed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  13. Yeah that would be cool. I have 2 blue cold cathode lights in my main rig, their not bad. Would like to go full RGB strips though.
  14. Ok that's a lot cooler then what I have, I may have to go for that. Thank you for the recommendation.
