  1. thankyou i will be using this method, is there any difference between 1 and 3 passes if i don't care about Data being able to be recovered?
  2. thank you all for the detailed reply's!
  3. I've never really given any thought to how i'm going to Clear all data on my HDD (including W7 OS) before my new PC Parts arrive, and all videos i've tried to look up have been about Clearing it multiple times so it can't be recovered. So i want to wipe it clean and install it when i build my new PC, alongside the SSD i purchased with it. Do i use a program to delete the data?
  4. BFH could also mean Battlefield Heroes, but let's not talk about that.
  5. Sort've hanging around playing SMITE until i get my new parts so i can play games like ARMA and Planetside 2. But passing time on FORZA 5 is also fun. Oh, and Master Chief Collection Edition should keep me busy on the XB1 side of things. Although i kinda agree with you that this year has been fairly disappointing so far (DayZ) even though most games come out around September/October.
  6. Ok thanks. I'll take note of BIOS 2001 but i'll be using Nvidia Ge force Experience to update my other drivers.
  7. i have 1 LG D2342 1080p monitor for gaming and videos and a cheap 720p one just for multi-tasking
  8. Haven't heard of this but thanks anyway i sure will! Is this the right download? http://support.lenovo.com/en_AU/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS032435
  9. Great to hear, thanks for the reply. Not really at the stage of learning to OC currently, but by the time i need an upgrade i'll be looking into a nice MoBo+ CPU that make it easy to OC for first-timers.
  10. I believe the parts will be arriving on the 7th-8th i'll definitely take some snaps when i've finished!
  11. Right. Yeah sounds good to me, i was only concerned because i plan to play games like Planetside 2, ARMA 3 and DayZ which i here are more CPU intensive than other modern games. Anyway i'm happy with any graphics setting as long as i'm 1080p 60fps. Thanks so much for the reply!
  12. haha thanks! i didn't really do much research into cases but i thought this one looked decent enough. Hopefully everything goes smoothly!
  13. So I've officially ordered the parts and anxiously waiting for their arrival. But now i'm having second thoughts on my CPU, firstly here are my SPECS: CPU: i5-4460 3.2Ghz Motherboard: Asus B85 PRO GAMER Motherboard GPU: ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II OC 2GB RAM:G.Skill Sniper 2x4GB DDR3 SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 600w Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower case White OS: W8.1 (also have a 2tb HDD already) I'm happy with it and excited to play around with all the new toys, but if anything was going to "bottleneck" the PC what would it be? And if so what should i upgrade first to compliment the other parts? Thanks for reading!
