  1. Doesn't the H80i have a 5 year warranty? Even if it is dying (which it does sound like it might be) can't you just send it off to Corsair for repair/replacement?
  2. It'll almost certainly be fine, don't worry about it.
  3. If the G1's board is laid out the same as my Windforce 3X (which doesn't have a backplate), it's VRAM on the rear which gets warm.
  4. If the RAM works at lower speeds and the computer is stable, I'd just leave it at that. If you're using the computer for gaming and general computer stuff, not specific tasks which benefit heavily from fast RAM, you've pretty much solved your problem.
  5. I've got a Sony KDL42W705B, it's a very nice TV for gaming and general TV stuff. There are bigger and updated models, too, if that's what you'd prefer.
  6. As has been mentioned, if you want to OC, you'll need a better motherboard. However, if it was my money, I wouldn't be spending it on a motherboard for a system with a Core 2 Duo. I'd be saving it to put towards a new CPU and motherboard, either Z97 or, preferably, Z170.
  7. What are its symptoms? The most likely things to die are the HDD, ODD and whatever fan(s) a PS3 has in. All of which are fairly cheap to replace (well, an entire PS3 can't be that much these days).
  8. Get your nvidia drivers and let windows update do its thing.
  9. Yeah, just plug whatever cable you're using for your display into your motherboard.
  10. 4000mhz (or 8000mhz effecively) on the memory is pretty high, try turning it down. It won't change your frame rates much, but it may well massively improve stability. 1368mhz on the core is quite modest, I doubt that's causing problems.
  11. Have you tried removing your GPU and booting off the iGPU?
  12. Yeah, they're absolutely fantastic PSUs for £99.
  13. Judging by your posts, just get an SSD . You can pick up ~500GB SSDs for under £100 and 500GB is quite a lot of stuff.
  14. For the thousandth time, if you don't need NV specific features and power isn't crazy expensive, get an R9 390.
  15. I don't know, it depends how your laptop is constructed. Most laptops come apart from the KB down, not from the bottom up, though. Personally, I'd take it apart as much as possible, if you can remove the heatsink and fan from the laptop you'll be able to get at them from all angles and make sure they're as clean as possible. I suspect it'll be a case of: the more work you put in, the cleaner you'll get it.
