I am playing battlefield 1 at 4K on ultra. With a MSI GeForce GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X. I get about 65 frames. Would getting another and running in SLI make a big difference? Thanks :-)

Feel free to ask question i just built a custom water loop computer. The mobo, cpu, gpu are all water cooled. I have been water cooling for many years. Case: Phanteks Evolv PH-ES515E CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.7 Ghz CPU Cooler: EKWB Motherboard:GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 RAM:CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB GPU:Nvidia GTX 980 SSD:SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 256GB (two of them) HDD:Samsung 1tb PSU:EVGA 120-G2-1000-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 1000 W Other: Corsair fans, Alpha cool fittings, EKWB and Alpha cool radiators, Swifttech pump, EKWB GPU water block.

Okay guess i will ask another question. Should i run the cards in serial or parallel ? I have a swifttech pump. Will be water cooling the CPU, Motherboard and both GPU's. Thanks again guys.

Okay thanks that helps out a lot. I will get them as i don't want to break the cards. Plus there not that pricey. Thanks guys for the quick responses and help.

Thanks buddy. Yes i am redoing my HTPC, gaming pc with skylake. Gigabyte's flag ship board can be water cooled so it should end up looking pretty sick.

I have similar question. I have two MSI GTX 970 Gaming 100ME that run in SLI. I am soon ordering EK water blocks for them. I wanted to know if i could reuse the backplates that come with them. Or will i have to buy the EK ones. I like the stock back plates as being one of the reason i got these cards to begin with. Also i am aware i should of just got a 980 or 980ti for the cost of two of these cards. But it just worked out this way. I ordered one then the funds came available to get a second one. So they where not bought at the same time. Hope some on has a answer thanks.
