  1. I know it sucks but doing anything besides reinstalling your OS is likely to cause massive problems. In fact, to do it right, partition your 1TB drive move all data you wish to keep over to the new partition (especially games) and nuke the partition that used to contain your OS. Expand the created partition to include the whole drive after that. And THEN reinstall your OS on the SSD with the 1 TB not plugged in. and finally, plug the 1tb drive in and migrate any saves and restore backups to where they need to be.
  2. You always have bottlenecks. There's no such thing as no bottleneck unless you've spent thousands of hours analyzing performance & your usage. Here's how you find your bottlenecks: Run whatever you use your computer for most, open up task manager, and see if any of the numbers in the process tab are turning yellow.
  3. Windows 10 collects what they collect so they can figure out what areas need some love and what to focus on. Google collects the same stuff and more to deliver advertising content and to sell to third parties. I'd rather let windows do what they want & block google but since that's not an option, I don't actually care that MS knows that I prefer libreoffice over ms office.
  4. Back when I was in high school, they tried to block proxy services by IP, but there was a new one every week. There wasn't an option but to use one because you never knew what would get you in trouble. For example, researching queen for a paper got someone suspended.
  5. I just upgraded my computer with a Radeon HD 5450 Graphics card. I have multiple hard drives and I/O speeds are bottlenecking my computer. an SSD is just what I need to take this computer's upgrade path to its logical limit before I finally have to succumb and upgrade the whole system to get any more performance out of it.
