It seems like Dune isn't willing to ship anything until march 2022 unless you pay extra.  they supposedly dispatched 300 cases to a third party logistics company on may 31st 2021 yet those cases have never left their home port.  they claim the shipping crisis has outcompeted them, but in reality the crisis is that they aren't willing to pay market price to ship anything. Dune discovered that the clips that they had manufactured for their front panel are difficult to use with the Dice Y front panel accessory. So theve been waiting over 5 weeks now to adjust their clip mold and with no end in sight. supposedly over 1000 dice y panels are waiting for anodizing for some reason. Discord user M.ritche calmly and concisely tried to remove all roadblocks asking dune to keep the dice y panel that he paid for and let him pay for expedidted shipping of JUST the standard case, Alex Gomez misinterpreted his request either willfully or igornatly and went on a long discussion about manufacturing forecasts and didn't answer the question. two other users SoulSniffer and myself both pointed out in the live Q&A that he did that and ask that he address it again and failed to get any response. later M.ritche posted in discord this PM he had sent to Alex.

Soulsniffer also pointed out in clear concise language that the newly floated expedited container pricing was of by about 20000 dollars since Dune was already Willing to pay the bloated pricing on standard container pricing and dune stated that the pricing was estimated as such so that everyone would pay for their expedited containers weather the container was going to the USA or Saudi Arabia
Any comments that are critical of the shipping delays are met with boilerplate shipping crisis and covid excuses and the indiegogo comments section are bascially Matt, Dunes part time marketer and discord admin, copy pasting the same response on all of the comments

Matt who keeps the discord at a cooldown between 2 minutes and 5 minutes also is often quite dismissive and snarky of comments critical of dune

So where we are now is that the product that was supposed to ship January 2020, November 2020, May 31st 2021, October 2021 and was supposed to be available to have backers choose at their expense to Expedited ship October 1 will continue to wait till March 2022 and beyond to receive any news of shipments.

See for yourselves the latest video from the company was awful , with every update comes disappointment and failed targets and ship dates that come and go. 28th May latest deadline missed, then was told shipping 31st and still no tracking numbers or emails to suggest this has even happened

Being inspired by 7 Gamers 1 CPU and personal build 2015 videologs, I came up with an idea to try come up with a solution to allow me to put 2 things in to one box (plus some services) and then put away my standard desktop if all of that would magically work.

What I planned to put in the box:
    1. Windows 10 gaming PC in Virtual Machine
    2. Router and Firewall in Virtual Machine
    3. Plex, Deluge and MySQL in Docker containers.

After investigating what would probably allow me to do this:
Chassis: Chenbro RM31408 - http://www.chenbro.com/en-global/products/RackmountChassis/3U_Chassis/RM31408 CPU: Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2623 v3 - http://ark.intel.com/products/83354/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2623-v3-10M-Cache-3_00-GHz Motherboard: Supermicro X10DAi - http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X10DAi.cfm RAM: Kingston KVR21R15S4K4/32  - http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/?partid=kvr21r15s4k4/32 Thunderbolt Card: DSL5320 - http://ark.intel.com/products/76719/Intel-DSL5320-Thunderbolt-2-Controller Sidenote: I chose dual socket motherboard for the possibility to expand for future needs.   Originally I was looking in to Asus Z10PE-D16 WS motherboard since they are my preferred manufacturer, but I came to realize after looking in to things further: Thunderbolt is not a simple plug-n-play PCI-E technology -> It would be flat out impossible to use Thunderbolt with this board, and given that there are no dual CPU socket motherboards with Thunderbolt available I had to go for the only alternative, Supermicro. Then after thinking about it a bit more.. Q: Is thunderbolt simply going to work over the PCI-E card and utilize GPU properly since it has to be implemented as separate module? I did see that it SHOULD work in the deployment video, but it was also Asus card and motherboard, so there was bound to be some compatibility.   AND not to keep things too simple: eGPU(?): Razer Core - http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade-stealth   Q: Is there any chance in a million years this would work, and passthrough correctly to the Windows 10 Virtual Machine or is it better to scratch the entire hope for eGPU possibility given the fact that I'm already planning such an extraordinary setup?   If this is something that would actually work, I will start the project and display the end results
