  1. Allright pretty sure I found it, this is it right? Some genius decided it would be a good idea to put this in the battery compartement, under the trackpad.
  2. These pictures are actually from under the keyboard, I followed that article as well, but I'm unsure if it is for the same model as I have. Aside from that the bottom is a b*tch to open so I'm trying that now.
  3. A while back I bought an old Acer Extensa 355. It is practically new and works fine, but it has a bad cmos battery. Since I have no experience digging around in 20 year old laptops and there is very little documentation online, I wondered if any of you could help me? I can make a guess as to what the cmos battery is, but I'd rather not brick the machine by doing something stupid. Any help is appreciated
  4. The seller wants €450, so i guess it's not really worth it then?
  5. I saw this system for sale and it seems like a decent build for my sister (shye mainly plays minecraft but wants to play some GTA 4 now too). How much do you think it would be worth? Specs:
  6. If you really want to stay in that budget, you can get the i7 6700 or i7 4790 are both there, however 4790k is only 15$ above that budget.
  7. R9 380x for $160? Those things are usually around $260 right?
  8. As of right now on kinguin windows 10 pro is €25,99 and home is €29,99.
  9. The RM650x is just the RM650i without corsair link isn't it? does that mean it is also in the same tier?
  10. I am planning to use this for some solidedge/works for school on this thing and this would benefit from a better cpu. However this is not the main goal for this build since i can also use computers at school for this.
  11. Good point on the power supply, I'll take a look at that. As for the ram, those 4 sticks are actually on sale now and the price keeps going down. That's why they are included (went from 83,90 to 61,05 and now it's at 54,53). Why would the H100i be beneficial if i don't have an unlocked cpu? And Win10 pro is actually cheaper than home on kinguin (I don't know why).
  12. I couldn't really decide between less but faster storage or more storage, so i went with the cheaper one. It would be great if you could do that
  13. After using a laptop for 5+ years, I have finally decided to build an actual pc. However since this is my first time trying to build a pc I'd like to now if I made some real obvious mistakes. So following that Build plan recommendations thread I saw here earlier: I live in the Netherlands and have €1500 to spend on the complete system (so monitor, peripherals and OS included) I am mainly going to use it for gaming right now however I do plan on using it as somewhat of a workstation in the near future. So this is what I have at the moment: As you can maybe tell I'm going for a black and white build. After using 2 monitors for at least 2 years (looks horrible) I'm already looking forward to that ultrawide screen but everything is open for sugestions. I am planning to overclock that my cpu and heard that the 212 evo was good enough? Thank you in advance for any and all help
  14. I'd love getting the keyboard since i forgot i needed to save money for a keyboard while assembling my first build and i am now completely broke. I was used to having my keyboard integrated with my 7 year old laptop.
