  1. I use it as my daily driver. It is bigger than something like a Knack backpack. I like that it almost never falls over unless something is weighing lopsideded in it. Very thick material and padding, resists rain pretty well, and it doesn’t soak in spills on the inside. What I don’t like is the inset water bottle holder. It takes up interior resources and also it’s hard to get a bottle into the holder since the material lines up directly with the bottom of the zipper. So if I wanna quickly pack my bottle I have to use two hands. There is a chance it collapses since there isn’t a lip to feel the bottle in if that makes sense. But overall it’s great and still looks pretty good. Worth the investment.
  2. Very excited about this! I contacted them almost 2 years ago to see if they planned on extended sizing. So stoked, hope I get picked!
  3. My next PC (upgrading to case this fall) is the Enthoo Evolv ATX glass by Phanteks. They have 3 color variants and from all the videos I have seen (watch a few) it shows off your components and looks so cool! I currently use a modded S340 which is good but it wasn't what I was hoping for.
  4. The main reason is that this upgrade is a tie-over and will be used in my HTPC when I do upgrade to volta/vega or 1080ti. So something that could go an additional 3-4 years at 1080p. I am at the point where I want to start doing 1440p gaming or at lest be able to run max settings as I cant anymore with the newer games.
  5. I know you say 40-50 but I cant stop recommending these phones, I have had them and nothing comes close. AKG k240. The sound is amazing. https://www.amazon.com/AKG-240-Semi-Open-Studio-Headphones/dp/B0001ARCFA
  6. I think the biggest upgrade I need is from my 660 GTX, once I get that Ill know more but I am not sure. Really interested in Zen if its close to intel at like half the price. Thanks for your help!
  7. I had big ole reply but the forum ate the response. Mouse I have razer naga, great mouse for MMO and FPS have had it for 4 years ongoing now, never any problems. Its about 70 bucks on amazon Keyboard I have a tesoro durandel keyboard, works great has black switches but I got it for 50% off when I purchased it a few years ago. I wouldnt recommend it because of the issues with the onboard power of the keyboard, maybe mine was a bad keyboard, didnt send it back but outside of that its perfect.
  8. Hey Everyone, I am at the point where I feel like I need to look into upgrading on my main PC. I am on a Asus z77 LVK MB and a 3570k that I have at a cool 4.1ghz since I bought it (OG owner). I do lots of multimedia work, mainly web dev and photoshop. I also like playing games at max settings and want to start doing 1440p gaming within the next year. My question is this: should I wait for ZEN/Kaby or intel next gen to see how that goes, upgrade to a 3770k when I can (currently going 175-200 on used market/ebay) or do you think I am ok for now. Thanks!
  9. Hey all, longtime lurker and need some help selecting an upgrade to my aging GTX 660. I have always wanted a GEFORCE side stickered card. I have been looking at the 1070 FE and 1060 FE but I also like the look of the RX480 Strix. I just cant decide which card to get as I plan on getting either a Vega or 1080TI (or maybe 1180 TI) when it comes out. Would you say I wait and still use my 660 for now, pick up maybe a 780/980 on the used marked for like 180/250 or get a bridge card? Thanks for your help, I keep stumping myself.

    Case Pick

Yeah unless you want a complete silent mode PC for work or recording stuff Id always go with a window. Have fun!
  11. I have an s340. The case feet are pretty sturdy and it would probably take some cutting or hard pulling to remove them. They feel full rubber but might be rubber wrapped plastic. Probably a screw in the middle. Since I dont want to break the feet (reason I picked this case besides the window as the feet review). Here is a pic I found online. Hope it helps. http://images.anandtech.com/doci/9431/NZXTS340_06.JPG Edit: I also found this pic. From my experience in the case it is VERY hard to get your hands in the back area where you could get the feet off. If you want me to really get down and dirty I wont be able to really take a DEEP look until this weekend. I can see if they are screwed or are riveted. http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2015/03/nzxt-s340-review/s340-15b.jpg
  12. I only have two issues witht he s340. The first is that there is an open gap about 5-7 inches by about .5 inch right where the pci brackets are screwed into. What I did was mod a piece of metal to look similar to a bracket lock and use an old PCs thumbscrew, works perfect. I also dont like the cable management in front of the PSU. It is very hard to add more power cables once you have things installed, basically have to redo the cable management. My recommendation would be to PLAN the management before (I didnt do this). Will do when I eventually upgrade the system. TLDR: s340 is awesome, only two complaints, solid small medium case with a nice big window.
  13. You can do push/pull config too if you remove the cable hiding plate. It is attached with a few screws and pops out. That is what I did and is well worth it IMO.
  14. I am currently building a steam machine for the living room so I dont have to sit at the desk to play my games. This would work perfectly and help me get closer to achieving my goal! SSDs are a godsend. I have been working in multimedia for a long time and the amount of time it takes to load into windows alone is probably at least a a few months worth of time wasted. SSDs are godly, everyone should have one.
