  1. while psu is plugged and switch to on, try shorting the power switch headers with a key or screw driver fron left to right, top: pin 3 and 4 if it turns on; you got a bad switch, but they can be fixed quite easily, if you have a multimeter on hand. if not, something not quite right with your psu.
  2. you shouldnt run os on 5400 rpm hard drive these days, get a cheap 1tb hitachi/toshiba or wd blue 7200rpm drive instead. dont get 2nd ones.
  3. its a breath of fresh air to see a properly compiled post instead of a wall of effing text. anyway, intermittent freezes strikes me of dying hard drive, either bad sector or just end of life failure. try unplug the hard drive (data and power) and boot again, run a vs ai game in lol and idling for awhile and see if problem persists. if you are running windows 10, you probably dont need another antivirus program, uninstall it. windows defender is mighty powerful and generally very little impact on daily ops.
  4. check ipv4 property see if it runs on 10m speed. this is extremely rare but ive seen case like this where onboard lan for some reason start misbehaving.
  5. i have a kingston a1000, the thing is in some motherboards, their bios wont include nvme storage in their storage page, aka sata drive. because m.2 ssd are mostly pci-e device, you have to go to system browser (or similar) page, that you can check what devices installed on your physical location. nvme ssd doesnt need drivers, motherboards have builtin support. either it works or not. your board has 2 m.2 slots, try another one.
  6. have u overclocked? if so, revert to stock and keep using as normal. if problem persists, check psu.
  7. have you tried igpu? a cursor on top? what is kb? is the cursor you said is dos-style text mode cursor, or windows mouse cursor? if former you have to wait a little bit longer, latter however, means something wrong about starting process, usually involved software that start on boot, but not necessary driver
  8. did you overclocked? f so, try stock settings. this seems like a gpu issue. would suggest try another one or grab a apu if possible.
  9. it could mean another dead cr2032. you can buy it at hardware store or supermarket's tools section. buy a couple of them, with packaging intact. a trick: you can remove the cr2032 cell from a running pc, providing you dont power it off completely (aka switch off/ unplug power cable), it will retain power. as the motherboard draws power from either the cell or +5vsb to keep the clock and sram running. with that in mind, you also harvest another cell from a know good computer, just to be careful not shorting anything during the process.
  10. what browser are you using? try different one. also does it gray in other programs? eg video player, games. also try f11 too.
  11. what is your hdd? this screams bad hdd connection and or bad sector to me. try remove hdd and see if problem persists.
  12. i have the same mouse as you do and i dont have the issue. it could means doubleclicking switch. if the mouse still in warranty, contact cs and see if they can get you a new one. draw a spiral pattern on mspaint with pencil tool and see if the line breaks.
  13. simple, bad adapter. replace and try if problem persists.
  14. how about unplug the old drive? also consult the manual to see if your mobo has a "boot device override key", aka pressing the key will pop up a menu to let you select boot device
  15. how about reinstall the os...? have you tried that?
  16. power button is just a swich that closes the circuit, it has no polarity. basically, it does the same thing as shorting the green with black (ground). the general fix for this kind of problem is, power it on, leave it for 10mins, power off, aka turn off the switch, wait motherboard led off, turn on and power on. repeat until any result.
  17. well, bad adapter. replace another one, or better yet, use a monitor with dp input. adapting dp is prone to issues. your moard has hdmi out why not try that instead? monitors with only vga and hdmi is a big oof, unnecessary cost cutting.
  18. this is weird, but check if your io shield is shorting the usb.
  19. are those demanding titles installed on your wd hard drive? try move them to your ssd. grab hdd tune and do a quick scan to see if theres bad sectors on your hdd.
  20. NGFF is the old name for m.2. it doesnt meant its a pcie port, it could mean network or sata. considering you are using a propietary board with sodimms, i would say its not worth the cost of egpu box.
  21. what kind of background program you have? if it has a pattern that probably means it's a software one. try running a game like gtav and not doing anything, see if problem persists.
  22. keep trying, could be motherboard training the rams. try leaving only the ram and cpu, and unplug everything. by everything i mean everything other than power cable and motherboard beeper. if it beeps (one short beep) after power, it posts. if not, something is wrong, consult the manual.
  23. are you using adapters? what is your graphics card? have you tried switching ports?
  24. since you have a ryzen 3700x which doesnt come with igpu, it probably wont show anything outside of windows. (however it can route graphics card output to motherboard in os) what is your monitor? is there other ports on it like dvi vga or dp, try other ports. also power off completely, that means switch off the psu and unplug the power cable.
  25. i see. i blame your second monitor. i dont like products that doesnt shows up on google search result. unplug your main and leave second alone, see if problem persists. if so, try hdmi if you can. this sounds like the monitors psu, or worse, control board failing.
