  1. I just wanted to come to the LTT Forums to express my support to LMG overall. This recent chain of mishaps, allegations, and somewhat flawed apologies are a lot to happen all at once. I know it’s likely been building over time, especially where Linus is concerned. I’ve watched The WAN Show religiously since its inception and have seen the “hot takes” and some of the odd comments from Linus start to occur more frequently of late. I could tell that somewhere, stress or other factors has been taking hold. I believe that the GN video summarising the workload was a good insight into how busy everyone is to try and meet their self-imposed deadlines. I think this needs to change. Concentrate on bringing good quality and fun content. I can’t keep up watching all their videos, so I couldn’t imagine trying to push so many out. Not wanting to comment too much on the allegations of employees, but surely the stress from the above has caused a lot of the toxicity. There will be some people who may have done the wrong thing, which should be dealt with. But overall, I’m hoping slowing down will help. I want to just say “thank you” to all those who have worked at LMG over the years for all the great content. I am hopeful that the culture can change and that the “ship” can by righted so that it doesn’t crash on the rocks. Linus, I hope you can find it within yourself to take a much needed and well-earned break from content.
  2. Quite literally everyone needs an SSD. The speed difference compared to mechanical drives is quite huge. Whilst still not the cheapest thing ever and not delivering the best capacity for the cost, with the emergence of more and more cloud based software - the need for local storage for most users is just not that high anymore. No more excuses!
  3. Would get my parents a Nexus Player. It's a super easy way for them to access Netflix and YouTube. Having a remote is a huge plus for my mum as sometimes using her phone is a bit dickie at times...
  4. Love the headset. Just looks comfortable and well made.
  5. Yeah mine is doing the same. Was working fine, then all of a sudden I can't get in
  6. Fairly happy with mine, but I would love to go the liquid cooling route and jump to a 980Ti. It all comes down to money, sadly. The truth of the matter is I don't play games that much anymore. It's just that when I do, I don't want one single dropped frame. High expectations...
  7. Apparently it hits stores this week in Australia. The Z5 Premium launches in November but no idea what date yet. Hopefully sooner rather than later
  8. I'm thinking of getting the Z5 Premium over the Note 5. Just seems more interesting with similar specs. Will wait til I can give it a try in store at least
  9. Hey Linus, Please try get your hand on the Thermaltake Core P5. Would love to see a build video in this for a wall mounted PC!
  10. The Biohazard filtration system for the Tesla X... Instantly thought it was more for questionable air quality in the car... Perhaps after curry night
  11. The note 5 seems to be much faster than the note 4... That and my plan gives me a new phone every year
  12. Great video. Your points about not having the features power users enjoy are definitely valid. I have a note 4 and am upgrading to the note 5 in November. Sadly, Australia does not have the 64gb option... This leaves me with 32gb and nowhere to put my 32gb sd card... Guess I'll be relying on cloud storage more and more
