  1. @zdog16 Thank you very much, this is just about exactly what I was looking for, the only ones I could find prior to your suggestion was a 10x zoom at 720p. The PTZOptics camera looks like a very good option and with use of SDI video and an dual HD capture card (about 300$) I should be able to use two of these cameras in combo with the blackmagic to handle all the video. As for the mixing, the use of OBS Studio in preview mode should work perfectly... It should have no problem with multiple inputs. Thank you very much!!!
  2. @Evanair Thank you for your response unfortunately that is neither in my budget nor does it fit the camera requirement. I believe I know how I want how to setup the software and stream the largest problem I have is the PTZ cameras. From my previous experience I know I can build a computer that is capiable of everything I want it to do for just over $1200 USD, this includes 1x 3 output GPUs, i5 proc with video, elgato for streaming, ~4tb drive for local recording, USB 3.0 for input from blackmagic camera (owned), add on sound card for input from 68 channel board (owned). The largest issue I have is attempting to get 1-2 PTZ cameras that I can feed into the pc for ~$3800 or less. Thanks again! Happi
  3. @d3sl91 I completely agree about budget vs expectation. When origionally speaking to them, the setup above is what we talked about and described... Now although they have not given me a solid figure they are understanding it may be costly. With this in mind I personally believe it should be possible (especially because we already have the 1 "manned" camera (blackmagic 4k camera)) to do the rest for ~$4000-$5000. This would include 2 ptz cameras, computer, and software (theoretically OBS is free which is why I preferred to use this... also I have experience with it lol) Thank you for your reply!
  4. @JJHW149 Althouth I really apperciate this suggestion, this looks like it would be a very expensive while still having the problem of requiring the two side cameras that I did not see available here. I do see a quite nice setup from Blackmagic although I am also not familiar with the software also I am assuming it would be a recurring licensing fee. Thank you for your suggestion though!!!
  5. I guess I should mention about the "recording" part... the plan is to be running a software like OBS recording the entire setup and giving a live preview to the elgato card although I would be using the elgato for streaming instead of burdening the CPU/GPU with this task. This will allow me to save $300+ (US) on hardware there...
  6. Hello everyone! I have recently been drafted by my church to help them with entering the 21st century. As I have previous experience streaming and with audio equipment they have asked me to help them setup a live/recorded stream for them. So far they have not put any budget in place though I can expect that they will want to do it in the most inexpensive way possible, therefore I was hoping to reach out and get a hand with some of my ideas. At this point I am expecting the following: 3 camera setup (1 center manned and 2 unmanned mounted off stage) input from their 64 channel mixer (via USB) 6 video outputs (3 projectors on stage, 1 projector off stage, 1 live preview screen, 1 "editor screen" for managing content on all others) 1 H.264 encoder card connected to live preview screen for dedicated hardware encoding (like elgato pcie H.264 encoder) I am hoping someone might help me come up with some help with the camera setup and to tell me if I'm completely insane for this setup. The help I really need is with the 2 offstage cameras (mounted stage left and right) that I would really like to have as PTZ cameras, therefore the operator running the stream would be able to change angles on the pastor, band, crowd, or whatever they would like to to. Although I have see these devices in the past the only thing I can find lately is basically webcams with a motor. If anyone has any ideas or clues please let me know as I would really like to help them in any way that I can while still attempting to hold budget as a consideration. Thank you all in advance; HappiDada
  7. After being a "hardcore" gamer for 10+ years... I am very ashamed to admit I have NEVER used a mechanical keyboard. Although I have always been curious I have never felt the utmost need to spend a large sum (a cheap monitor worth) on purchasing a nice keyboard. Although I know my chances are very slim I would absolutely love to show this it off on stream during our upcoming MechWarrior Online Tourney on the 26th... As for the mouse, to be completely honest although I honestly have need for it (as I literally have snapped my g602 in my hand LOL (did that on stream too)) I would probably give it away as prize for the above mentioned tourney. Thank you for your consideration; Happi PS... I would love to also show my current keyboard though have no camera near, It literally has an indent in the plastic (textured) where my left hand sits. This is not dirt or grime but literally my palm rubbing the finish off the keyboard. O and like most gamers, W,A,S,D,Space, E, X, C, R are all no longer visible as the finish rubbed off over a year ago LOL!
  8. My worst support is also my second best... 1 year and 3 days after I purchased my Samsung 60 inch (cheap) led television (low end orig price ~$500) it went out... After contacting customer support I got the total run around. After 5 days straight of calling and bugging the heck out of managers I finally got them to service it. (Each call for 5 days was over 1 hour each). Once they agreed to service it it was 2 weeks before a tech could come out to look at it. On a side tangent each of the 5 days I told them on the phone the issue was the power supply board as I had looked up the specs and checked the output voltages but one of the 12v outputs was outputting 3v. After the tech arrived he came with the controller board replacement (not the power board). With this he replaced the board and of course the TV did not work. For the next 2 weeks the same tech came out 7 times replacing EVERY PART except the power board (including the panel, besel, mount, back light, and even the buttons board (with an ir sensor)). After all of this I finally had it and called the company demanding better service. To be fair I used my pull as the person who buys all my companies tech and quoting the number of Samsung devices we have. Once I spoke to them they immediately apologized and offered to replace the unit... one problem, they stopped making this one. So after about an hour they called back and offered me the "next model" for an additional $300. At first I was pissed that they wanted me to pay more, but after I looked into the unit I happily accepted. I am now very happy with my beautiful 60" 240hz plasma, smart, 3d television!!! At the time that they gave it to me this model was $1,399.99 at BestBuy!!! Thanks Samsung!!!! I really appreciate how you treat your valued customers... Even if it was hell to get you to do it. Happi
  9. Im sorry to hear that bud but if you re-upload... Ill be sure to give you a view!
  10. Please keep in mind... this video is very old and may not work though as I said, I got a very similar method to work about 3 months ago when I deleted my "drunk" video... Please note although I was drunk, the entire video I was passed out and my friends were just messing with me LOL. PS: Don't drink and stream! Happi
  11. Thank you for clarifying that... I was seriously about to buy the T5 on Ebay LOL! Thanks again!
  12. Do you have a direct link to the video still? If you do you may be able to use a YouTube video downloaded like the video below to re-download it. Now I have NOT tried this although I have downloaded a "deleted" video in the past. I noticed that I could re-download it for about 24hrs although after that I could not. Good luck and sorry to hear about your misfortune; Happi
  13. Thank you for such a prompt response. Although I have looked int DSLR cams I had been looking into the recent Sony Handycam series. One of their latest includes a 1080p + 16MP design that includes a 32x optical zoom and a 12 deg. optical stabilizer. This being said, the only place for me to get my hands on one was BestBuy in which I promptly left as soon as the pushy sales person would not take "I don't need any help" for an answer. On top of this I was unable to test actual recording, playback, or quality on a larger device (ie: monitor). The one thing that was very appealing to me about this was the starter price range at only $150. I will say this though, I do appreciate your incite on the facts especially because the points you brought up of depth of field selection and so on. With that said I was unaware that the T5 had the ability for remote audio input such as a lav mic. Thank you again!!! Happi
  14. Hola LMG and forum goers, Let me start with, my apologies if this is in the wrong section. I would like to put out a request for a sub-200$ camera suggestion/review. I am starting my YouTube channel doing a lot of reviews and although I have a LOT of quality audio equipment due to my streaming, I do not have a useful high quality camera and I have noticed that my videos are no where near the quality my viewers have come to expect from me. With this stated I would like to see if LMG would consider doing a bit about some quality sub 200$ cameras that could be reasonably used with YouTube. Some of the features that I would understand being good would be microphone inputs, potentially changeable lenses (although I do not think anything under 200 would fit this), battery life, and stability control. I would like to get the other forum goers opinion as well as I do not expect that LMG will waste their time if I am the only person looking for this type of review/suggestion. Thanks everybody!!!
  15. Hey LMG! Sorry for the direct post and the unspecific response but I would love to get my hands on any of them. I have been streaming on twitch playing CS:GO with a G602 and although it has served me well I have recently started wanting a wired mouse. On top of all this I am also growing my YT channel (700% this month, yay!!!) and plan on doing both product reviews as well as enterprise education on tech topics such as Windows server tips and many other great things. Thanks in Advance!!! Happi
