  1. Wauw, what an awesome giveaway! I recenly sold my old 2 x 2TB WD Green Disks, cause i wanted to do an upgrade but then .. not sure if i should get a nas or invest in more fresh TB disks So currently my build has a Corsair Force GT 120GB - and a Samsung 500GB (some sataII-disk, sadly) Bought them both off a friend for like 50% discount, its my first SSD - really makes a difference! Cheers!
  2. Whoa! - i came across your case on Google the other day, while searching for c70's Got surprised when i saw it here - Its a very, very nice paint job you've made here, really like it! Was nice to see more pictures of the case from google :D - Thanks for sharing your mod! Edit: haha nice, i just noticed you contributed to the [Official] Corsair Vengeance C70 Gaming Case Owner Club! - Thumps up for that!!
  3. whatthe_fuzz - Thanks, i think i just wasnt paying attention enough when i was going through the article. But good news, I've got in touch with a guy who does lasercut custom backplates - no no more thinking and worry - just throw money at screen insted.. and wait.. =) Solved.
  4. Well, theres alot of ppl saying it is a reference pcb, which makes me kinda confused about it. also some ppl said its a non ref, but it will still allow some of the backplates to be mounted anyway. By blackplates i assume you mean backplates xD
  5. Will do, when i get a little further in the process, cause its gonna be an 'over time' side project
  6. Allright, gonna post there, and make a referal to this threat, thanks
  7. Thanks man, ive already sent an email to ek, yesterday - about my project so i hope they will know if its possible or not. My card is exactly this one: GV-R7970OC-3GD- ive typed it over, from the box :P Ive just checked the one you linked, so this will be a fitter aswell? http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-backplates/discounted-fc-backplates/ek-fc7970-backplate-black-qclass2.html I like the design more, even tho it might have some flaws.
  8. Can you recommend me another backplate?
  9. Hey guys, and girls! Heres another one for ya - im doing a new build, themed in white and black colors and my 7970 has a blue pcb (eeew..) so im looking for a backplate that will fit with the air cooler on it. Its only for the visual looks of it! - cause the case will have a window - motherboard will have thermal shield and so on - i dont wanna see much pcb Backplate can be any color, cause i might aswell paint if - if it dosnt match.. Found this one myself - which i kiiinda like but.. will it fit? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15407/ex-blc-1073/Heatkiller_GPU-X_79X0_Radeon_HD_7950_7970_Reference_Design_Backplate_16002.html Its in the US it seems, if i can find it in the EU, it could be my winner (if it fits with the current cooling on the GPU) Card is:, GV-R7970OC-3GD http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4102#ov Any suggestions or anyone know about this? Thanks in advance!
  10. Congrats everyone who won in this contest! Thanks to all sponsors - and Linus, mods and everyone else forgotten here! :D
  11. Been searching deep for this - if you can hook me up with links of threats or pictures of done mods with this - i d be happy! :D
  12. Thanks for you input, but its not an option :) IP65 Led stips will do the job for me - if theres room enough under the board, gonna check that out in a few days when the case arrives.
  13. Sorry pal, i ment foil, its called foil. Its easy to work with, and removable. Nailpolish could be an option aswell, but might be hard to get an even surface.
  14. Oh yeah isee :) Ive found some other guy advising ppl on useing side emitting led strips, and gel/epoxy coated led strips - for make sure they dont fry anything. he has an amazon and ebay and facebook - so ive send him a facebook message - hoping he will reply. Still taking advices from you guys LTTforums <3 :)
