  1. That seems to be some kind of dust... Could it be causing trouble ?
  2. It's just an H100. The first one that came out....
  3. I tried to reseat the CPU I found one pin that was slightly off on the side of the tubing of my H100. I did move it back in place but it still seems to be doing the same thing. I tried clearing the CMOS as well and tried different RAM configs and without any RAM. Keeps doing the same thing.
  4. So here's the problem. I had a perfectly working computer and got it shipped to a different location. Now I see that the CPU LED on my P8Z68Vpro is always on and the system refuses to post. What could be the possible problems ?
  5. I'm an international student so getting a desktop isn't really worth getting cos I can't take it back home as well.... and most of the $2500 range mobile workstations seem to come with the K1100M but benchmarks suggest that the iris pro is actually faster.
  6. eGPU ??? is that possible ? think the DIY stuff costs about $1000 easily...
  7. I said that just to cool down the haters... and thanks for your input.
  8. I will be doing my Masters in Mechanical Engineering in the US (international student) starting january and I am looking for a new laptop to run programs like Solidworks, Inventor, Abacus, CATIA, etc and was wondering what to get. My research so far, >Getting a workstation for myself might not be necessary because 2 years from now the company that I work for will give me a workstation to use anyway. >Quadro costs more than $500 more than the iris pro model (Dell precision 3800 vs the Macbook Pro 15") and unless it's worth that extra cash wont be a great option. >I know a Mac isn't very good for mechanical work but it can run windows and also has a very efficient OS when I do other work that's not so tasking on the hardware (writing on my website or watching youtube and reading notes and what not ). It also works well with an iPhone/iPod that I own. So that's it guys, I would like to know what kind of hardware do I go for ? Any other laptop suggestions is good too within the $2100. I DO NOT GAME WHATSOEVER I do have an overclocked MSI GTX660Ti PE that I will be bringing with me to the US though if that helps.
  9. Some iPhone 6 Plus users have been having issues with their camera where the OIS seems to be malfunctioning when exposed to long term vibrations such as car rides. This is not something that has affected a mass majority of people but it is still an issue... The images don't seem to be able to focus and are blurred when taken and have this weird warping effect going on.
  10. No word about increasing the sensor size or it's resolution of the sensor on the next gen iPhone however, according to Daring Fireball’s John Gruber Source
