Budget (including currency): around 1000$ just the rig, peripherals just using old ones for now. Country: Malaysia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming and Netflix/YouTube/Twitch Other details: Currently using a 10 years old PC I build. I have not paid enough attention into latest PC parts and in need of some help building a new rid. Current PC: an OOOLD intel i7 930 with a rampage Mobo. (Really OLD) New build: CPU(Ryzen/Intel) CPU cooler: Water or Air Cooled(Noctua) Motherboard(Asus/Gigabyte) or better RAM(at least 16GB)DDR4 maybe b'cause DDR5 in expensive Storage(at least 512GB SSD for boot + HDD for storage) Graphics Card: Preferably NVIDIA (can run 1440p games) Case: anything black and not flashy Power supply: Seasonic/Corsair (or something better) Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

Hello, just wondering is it advisable to use a raid card with sata 6gbps for my boot ssd. Currently using an old motherboard m4a785td v-evo from asus, it does not have any sata 6gbps port and my ssd does not feel that fast anymore. Or is it possible to do something else?

Well thank guys for all the suggestions, so what I'm having trouble now is to choose either the HD598 or HD558. From what I have heard they sound different but can be modded (HD558), but to be brutally honest I dont want to do that because of the warranty. So for overall better sound quality should I just buy the Sennehiser HD 598?

Hi guys, currently looking for a pair of headphones and kind of having trouble choosing any of them. After watching Linus review on the Sennheiser HD8 DJ, I'm kind of interested in them, but unfortunately where I live right now (Malaysia) it wont be here for quite a while. My question is how does it compare to the Sennheiser HD598, yes I know HD598 is an open headphone but how about the sound quality overall. Should I wait for the HD8 DJ or just buy the HD598? Your opinion. btw..I have Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro, I used for quite a while now. How does this compare to those two above. Thank You :)

Currently helping a friend building his 1st gaming&editing pc...mostly for gaming.....and... any good M-ATX boards? and he wants an i7-3770k...huhuh...is it ok to put an i7 in a M-ATX board? or better 3570k? got a few here...ASUS P8Z77-M, GIGABYTE Z77M-D3H, MSI Z77MA-G45. which one? or any better ones, any suggestions?
