  1. I barely see modmics in stock. I'll will snatch them once the 4.0 gets in.
  2. Just like my closed headphone , the headband like shit, but the sound is superior and has a wide soundstage.
  3. Audio-Technica ATH W1000x - $399.99 Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium Headphones - $239.99
  4. I know that feel bro, my local country here only sells Beats, Razer and Turtle Beach(there's other brand like edifier, logitech and other gaming headset(mostly headsets, nobody mention about headphones when I asked them) brands they wouldn't bring out but I knew they sell them and they never bother to mention them out). I asked the retailer to list me a good and well known brand for headphones. They only offer me Beats(top tier), Razer(mid tier) and Turtle Beach(mid tier? but still the best they said to me). Anyway, I'd like to share my purchase. I'm not sure if the local custom is charging the item tax too high or there is some restriction from the government preventing them somehow to import those product in bulk. Bought them before black friday, and somehow the discount coupon doesn't show up inside the calculation. When FedEx comes to my house, they charged me $53 for the import tax. The price is quite unfair, but for a price like this, nobody around the area who receives them accidentally would take it or buy them to get to their hands. The local postal service always delivers to the wrong house and sometimes my items got missing and need to file a report to get a compensation. Back to topic : You could give ATH M50/s a try. I heard there are good reviews on them. That headphones feels intrigue that it almost get my roommate to get them.
  5. Sennheiser HD 650 Audiophile Headphone - $349.99 Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium Headphones - $239.99 if it hits the target.
  6. I have the A900x, they are closed headphones and the soundstage is very wide without compromising any audio. Bass isn't loud but tight and doesn't hurt your ear.
  7. You mean like this? All of them from my amp produce them. My headphones box or description never mention or claimed themself have any of these. i.e: 7.1 virtual surround, Dolby etc etc.
  8. Sennheiser HD 600 Audiophile Headphone for $299.99
  9. IF you're going to get them, make sure there's still have warranty on them, I don't see if there is any problem if the warranty is still there. Just promise that the warranty doesn't die before your secondhand headphone die.
  10. Nah I shouldn't complain here, I just wanted to know if it's the isp or the router bringing the speed down.
  11. Quite satisfy my newly subscription coming in today. Maybe I need to give it more/some time for it to get stable. During 4k video buffering in youtube, I get borderline buffer but rarely see them buffer unless someone is using them. Downs and ups when running speedtest, the speed are locked 98% at max speed <the image below> It supposed to be 20 downs and 20 ups. Quota is unlimited until further notice in the future.
  12. Host and ISP is few meters away from my house. My speed really can't move beyond and it is locked but still ranging 19.03 to 19.05 when the speed test is running same goes to upload speed.
  13. I recently upgrade my subscription from "5Mbit down and up" to "20 down and up". The host/ISP is just across my house not far away. Now I wonder, 0ms at midnight. I thought 0ms suppose to be closer to 20 up and down, but ended up getting this result. Is ISP cheating on me or the router given by them originally is capping my speed?
  14. One more tip, I owned a pair of cans that doesn't label or claimed themselves gaming headphones or has 7.1 channel in them. But the headphones itself allows you to have them without anyone telling you. You just need to find them out.
  15. FiiO E10 Olympus anyone? and some audio stuffs here
  16. I thought my headphones are defect. But finally I come down to solve my issues. Try the FiiO 10.
  17. Yes. No dust in them. I always use transparent plastic to cover my peripherals. The amount of dust is too damn high in my area because of the paper ashes flying outside my house. Yes I think. Final thoughts, Maybe I stick with my av receiver for now and stop the constant burn in test. I'll be hearing music most of the time. Also, I did some research until I give up before posting this thread. Some said it's the AC power issues from the power source connected to my computer. Some said there is no static issues on portable device. Anyway, thanks guys for helping me. Appreciate all the post. .
  18. I joined the 1/4 to 3.5mm jack then plugged them to my TX-NR808. There's no static sound on them at all. Meh, I just wondering now, if I leave the static sound like this all the time, would it be harmful to my headphone? Also, some people said headphones need certain voltages between headphone and amp to prevent explosion. Somewhere in head-fi. Anyone can explain if my A900x is suitable with my tx-nr808? Is it harmful for long time connecting to this av receiver? EDIT : Added photo.
  19. Few days back, I received my A900x. Well, when I plug them in, there isn't noticeable static sound because the static sound is too low. Few moments then I realize there is a static sound in them. Is this normal or are they harmful if I leave them alone? Thanks in advance.
  20. My brother G230 can do virtual surround .
  21. 65% discount will make the buyers come in Or maybe not.
  22. I'm going to get the 4.0. Most of the older models are out of stock. Since 4.0 is coming, I doubt that people will buy the 2.3 and 3.0
