Getting it built for you is probably smarter, i agree. Although i can't say anything about NCIX quality. I'd rather take it to microcenter or something to get built. I would expect microcenter to do a decent job of building it, because its microcenter. Some places will not cable manage anything and make it look super ugly.

You can build a laptop, but you probably shouldnt. Chances are you arent going to save any monney, and end up with a really bulky and thick machine.

Its extremly overkill for his purpose, which is to stream videos. Thats like saying building an entry level gaming pc to watch twitch isnt overkill. For this, he could have gone with that 150$ build Paul did a few months ago. But he built an entry-mid gaming pc instead. He is gaming on it, but hes building it primarily for streaming, making it overkill
