  1. I have a fast Samsung SSD and before when I was searching for a file it appread immediately, even while typing. Now I have to wait 0,5-1s before the results show up. Is there something I can do except a format? Video exmaple of Index.xlsx file: https://i.gyazo.com/6f605de5661b5256096fe27da5009535.mp4
  2. I did get an used 1080 Ti Aorus Extreme for 595$ with warranty.
  3. Aside from Apex that I will play on medium/low settings, would the 2070 be able to push 60 fps on games like Witcher 3 or GTA 5?
  4. Thanks for the percentages! That sound really bad. I will probably go for the 2080 then. I love having both good game visuals and fps. I am afraid there will be a big difference between medium/high and maxed out.
  5. Can you please explain Will there be a difference in gameplay if I have 150 fps but my monitor only supports 100 Hz?
  6. Will the RTX 2070 graphics card be enough to play the following games in 3440x1440 on the max possible settings on 100 FPS? Or should I consider the RTX 2080? Apex Legends GTA 5 Witcher 3 World of Warcraft (+ external tool to max out graphic settings even further). Red Dead Redemption 2 I understand that if I have an 100Hz monitor with G-Sync (Asus PG348Q) there is no sense to go higher than 100 FPS because my monitor is the bottleneck or am I wrong?
  7. Is it possible to make it that when I click on the Spotify overlay the Spotify window will pop-up?
  8. Ok, I will do that. Do you know what this could be?
  9. There appeared dark streaks on my Asus PG348Q Ultrawide monitor. They are good visible on grey backgrounds. On other colors I can see them lightly or not at all. Is this a serious problem, should I send it to Asus for repair? Is there a name and reasone for this phenomenon?
  10. I did manage to delete the entire Utilities folder where the file was in in safe mode. It seems that another exe file that was not detected as a virus was creating this file everytime windows booted up. Despite of this I am planning to do a format soon for performance boost.
  11. Safe mode did not help. I did try to delete in manually (the file was there) and the next time I tried to delete it with Antimalware (it did delete it but it still appears).
  12. Ok, I will try to do something in safe mode. I did took the file out of quarantine and scanned it with VirusTotal and Anti-Malware. It looks very scarry. https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/f4bdd8d2c8a658f975c8c40d63e5f3fcac22bfc3a9e02ad56a338dcf067dc28f/detection
  13. I am using authentic Windows 10 64-bit, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes Anti-Malwe Premium Trial and Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit. Yesterday I downloaded a program called Folder Colorizer to help organize my folders. The program is distributed on many legit sites and has some YouTube videos so I did not expect that It has a CoinMiner attached. I did uninstall the program but everytime Windows boots up there is a pop-up window that Windows Defender has found a threat. Even if I delete the infected file through Windows Defender it keeps appearing every time I restart my pc. Malwarebytes Anti0Malware and Anti-Rootkit do not detect this virus but this mayby because Windows Defender finds it faster and places it in quarantine. Any tips how to get rid of this? Additionally after every Windows Defender detection my UAC goes 1 level up (from 0 to 1).
  14. I got an answer from the Emulator Developer! In this case I will only choose an Intel CPU with as many cores as possible (6-8 should be enough for 6-8 emulators I think). I have two options I think: • Intel Core i7-8700K (6 cores) • Intel Core i7-7820X (8 cores) • Server CPU? (never had one bofore) Which would you recommend and why?
  15. @Alexsolo I have a separate budget for the other parts so that should not be a problem I do use the Dark Rock Pro 3 for cooling. @emosun Unfortunately I did not solve the problem (everyone recommends something different) and the topic was founded a long time ago so I did not want to refresh it. I want to get as many opinions as possible to make the perfect choice.
