From my knowledge AMD really jumps at the release of new stuff. My friend bought some AMD before Ryzen dropped ($200ish) and they jumped a few hundred percent.

I have the 2600 and a similar Mobo (Gigabyte b450) and I think its fine stock. If you want a higher clock speed, you can get up to 3.8Ghz easily in the bios and ive seen some people get over 4GHz on the stock cooler.

AMD has gotten a lot better with GPUs recently, and they are definitely something to go for. Also, your Ryzen CPU will probably work better with an AMD GPU. I have an RX570, and im more than happy with the performance. Note: Here is a list of AMD GPUs for the same price if you don't like XFX. It really depends on what it is, but it definitely could. We'll have to see.

Can you read the writing on the top of that chip, and are you sure its a mosfet? When it comes to replacing it, you could do so with a steady hand, a soldering iron, and a replacement chip.

I have the same exact mobo, and I had the same exact problem!. While highlighted over the frequency, you have to type the value in. For example, for 3000 mhz, you would type 30, for 3133, 31, and for 3200, 32. Beware though, as this motherboard doesn't officially go over 2933 mhz, so go with 30. whenever i tried to go over 3000, system would immediately crash -

@TVwazhere Lets theoretically say I have Hyperhidrosis (yes I do) and I sweat a lot, even at regular temperatures. Due to the fact that my glutus maximus is above average in size, especially for a Male, it is warmer due to the extra fatty tissue. Because of this, I am even more prone to sweating and it would be helpful to cool down said area. Therefore, this would not be a shitpost as it is addressing a problem for me while gaming, and could solve a problem for others as well.
