  1. I recently picked up the Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless. BY FAR my favorite headset i've ever used. I personally have a large head(i wear a size 8 hat) and wear glasses, so headaches are a problem on smaller headsets. these are so light and comfortable and fit around my huge noggin. I've been on average wearing them for 4-8 hour stints with no problems. Battery life is great and you can charge them from a wall power adapter as well, i have a 3 outlet USB power bank with a 10ft cord so it gives me nice movement options. Sound quality is up there with my Tritons as far as Surround effects. Software is relatively non-invasive. Past headsets include Logitech G35, Triton AX PROs, Razer Carcharias and another turtle beach garbage i can't bother to remember the name of.
  2. As far as i know not on my end. I've had mine since late April, installed clean windows on it, use it about 4-12 hours per day and use it regularly as i used to use my i7-870. Paired it with an Asrock X370 Killer Motherboard and 32GB of Corsair LPX DDR4 2400
  3. Yes, the 1700s overclock fairly well. You can easily push it to 3.6 without even overloading the stock cooler.
  4. Agreed, went from an i7 to an r7 1700 and havent looked back
  5. My recommendation is either a rackmount chassis that is meant for that many drives, which you probably don't want. Or option 2 is a full tower with lots of space, fans, and using something like the case labs or mountain mods 120mm fan hard drive mounts. Mountain mods now makes 140mm hdd mounts that can hold 4. If that's your route, maybe this rosewill full tower is your best bet. It comes with 10 bays for 3.5" drives, you can use the 5.25" bays with adapters and fit at least 8 more on the fans behind the 3.5" bays with the mountain mods mount. https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16811147157 Caselabs Has 4 drives per 120mm http://www.caselabs-store.com/double-wide-magnum-standard-hdd-cage/ Mountain mods is 3 for 120mm and 4 for 140mm 120mm link http://www.mountainmods.com/120mm-hard-drive-rack-black-wrinkle-p-416.html 140mm link http://www.mountainmods.com/140mm-hard-drive-rack-black-wrinkle-p-741.html
  6. Is this a mini tower or a SFF case?
  7. This^^ I have the same UPS and definitely worth the money. APC, Cyberpower and tripp lite will give you all around the same performance around this $150-$200 mark. Again with the higher Wattage/VA rating the better. Especially if you are going to push it near 50-60% of its wattage all the time.I prefer cyberpowers PC application over APCs but again its all up to you.
  8. Also not a fan of the Gigabytes Sata connectors. Right angle is much better IMO
  9. I'll see if i can pull some screenshots of my task manager for you. Currently running a ryzen 7 1700 with 32gbs of ram, a 128GBM.2 Sata drive and a GTX780 (between a 1050ti and a 1060 but closer to 1060 3gb) to try and help you with everyday examples. Edit: Heres a screen shot of task manager to see how easily these tasks can be handled. Apps running: Spotify streaming music 15 Google Chrome tabs open with 2x 1080p60 youtube videos playing 3 firefox tabs 2 opera tabs 2 teamviewer windows open connecting to VMs A 6GB file transfer
  10. Why not go for something like a ryzen 1600? Plenty of room for multi-tasking and upgradabilty. I linked a decent build below. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PGCTcc

  13. ^^- This. If your pump fails because you cheaped out on it then your entire system can overheat. Buy a good Laing D5 NIB and call it a day. DDCs are good as well but have a higher failure rate if i remember correctly and are also more noisy than a D5.
