Hey LinusForumTips!
I'm looking for some help, setting up my Synology DS1817+ NAS box for FTP access. I'm based in LA (where the NAS is located), but I'm currently in Boston on a job (I'm a filmmaker). I want to be able to send footage back to the office in Los Angeles for processing. Tried using Google Drive but it didn't like doing hundreds of gigs a day. And S3 is cost prohibitive for the amount of video I'm sending.
I have used the EZ-Internet application built into the Synology Disk Station Manager to port forward. I have IP and user accounts set up. However, I can't figure out how to connect to the server using Cyberduck. I've used Cyberduck before to upload to Amazon S3 buckets, but want to send files directly to the NAS box this time.
Can someone provide some advice for connecting to my Synology box with Cyberduck over FTP for large file transfers?
Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
