  1. Is it still worth going for an i7-9700K, i9-9900K or Ryzen 7 3700X now when the new AMD 5000 series have been released? The main use would be gaming and rendering in V-ray for example.
  2. I've got a weird sound being emitted from my PC and I can't really locate from where but it seems like it's either from the CPU cooler (H100x) or the GPU (Gigabyte RTX 3070 Gaming 8GB). The sound always appears when the PC is under high load, for example during gameplay and rendering. And as Im not familiar with this sound i have no idea where and why it's there, so if someone recognizes the sound from the video I've attached I'd be glad to know! (The sound in the video am referring to is the buzzing and rattling sound you can hear in the beginning) Happy for any advice and info that could help IMG_1877.mp4
  3. I understand. I’ll have a look and thanks for the advice!
  4. It’s an intel i5-4460, so it’s quite old but it has been working flawlessly for all these years and haven’t experienced any problems lately with it. BIOS wise I’m not sure, but my drivers are up to date, might have to check the BIOS though and see if i can update it.
  5. All of a sudden my CPU started spiking to a 100% back and fourth. I have no tasks open and it still spikes up to a 100%. Right now while using Chrome it's jumping back an fourth between 50-100% and even if no tasks are open it still spikes regularly! Can this be caused by overstressing the CPU? Because I've just finished rendering quite a heavy project in Vray (A realistic rendering software). After that my CPU haven't been performing as normal. It's even now common that every program I open and use freezes and crashes straight away. On top of that the keyboard has stopped working in Windows Search etc.
  6. Got it thanks! Think it's sovled now
  7. I've connected a 4GB USB to my PC. It shows that roughly half of it is full but when I open it there's nothing there. As I haven't used this USB in a while Im very uncertain if there even should be anything on it but I do wanna know what possibly could be stored on it. Anyone have an idea for a fix? Will appreciate any advice.
  8. Thanks everyone (especially you SZ1357)! I updated the BIOS and it seems like that solved it
  9. For more than a year now I've had a problem with my Motherboard were it doesn't save any settings I change in the BIOS. Battery change has been made just 10 mins ago but with no success of sovling it. This prevents me of course from configuring my PC right, for example everytime I power on my PC i have to load Windows 10 via my SSD boot drice in the bios just to enter my PC. This is obviously very annoying and I really want a to find a fix for it, anyone have experince in this? Much appreciated Specs: Gigabyte GTX 1050TI I5-4460 3.20Ghz 500GB SSD Samsung 1TB Seagate ASUS z97-E 8GB DDR3 RAM
  10. Unfortunately it didn't work, it just reset the system time but nothing else. Everything still reverts back to default in the BIOS. But thanks for the help anyways!
  11. I cant get my 2nd monitor working which is connected to my Motherboard DVI. This is because my stupid motherboard cant save any settings I change in the BIOS and everything just goes back to default straight way. It prevents me from activating the Multi-Monitor setup (in the BIOS) which activates the Integrated Intel HD graphics. Is there any other way to activate the Intel HD graphics in the motherboard without doing it in the BIOS? ( I have tried to reset the MB by taking out the battery and putting it back in but with no success )
  12. Plot twist: Pc decided to turn on unexpededly!! wtf!!! thx for all help and advice!!
  13. It has holes on top for AIO cooling
  14. I (Idiot) accidentally spilled soda on my computer and it messed it up and it won't turn on now. I'm suspecting that the motherboard died as it got severe amounts of liquid on it so what should I do now? I acted fast and wiped off most off the liquid that got into the PC. i don't think anything else has broken because they didn't get as much soda on them but who knows?? What's the best thing to do now? Any advice?!?
