Brendan got a reaction from Aleksxkl in Using EVGA 680 SLI as heater for room.
Because my cards push the hot air out of the case, i was wondering if i could use my card as a heater.
I've set +0 on memory, -75 on core and max power target.
Then i run the EVGA stress test and the temperatures are around 60-62 c (on chip)
Will this damage my card in anyway and what can i tweak?

Okay, for my phantom i found that you need to lever the right side in then push it in, NOT slide.
Don't slide it or you may bend the corners making it extremely difficult to operate.
Also, i found that the 2 fans on the side panel are quite unreliable. Both of mine have a broken blade.

From all the benchmarks currently on the net, 7970 reigns supreme in both Single and SLI configs.
7970 is cheaper and faster and i think you should go for that, especially if you plan to run 2 as that will save you a lot of money.
Furthermore this is coming from someone who runs SLI 680s.
