  1. So I guess it can join the ZenFone 2 and the Nexus 6P in my "would have considered but it's too big" list of phones. It's like as smartphones progressed, people hands have kept growing larger.
  2. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/bitfenix-case-bfcprm300kkxskrp is what I'd go for.
  3. I've seen a Define R5 with a R5E and even an X99-E WS, so I'm curious if the Define S would be able to hold an EATX with the board bent, or at least a slightly smaller EATX like the X99 OC Formula?
  4. They're all the same aside from the Acer having FreeSync.
  5. So let's say I'm rendering a video on one computer, and I want to edit and render another video on another computer at the same time. The files are on one computer but they are on the same network. Would I be able to do that? If so, what are benefits of a NAS if the only time I will be acessing data over a local network is whenever one computer is already on anyway?
  6. Hate to break it to you but the Strafe has no volume wheel.
  7. When choosing a keyboard, people tend to decide based on switch, build quality, backlight etc. But I've never seen people really talk about features. Things like volume wheels and volume controls in general, media keys, key programmability and macros. So I was curious to see how many people would pick what option. For extra flexibility I added 4 options. Reasoning preferable. 1. Yes but I don't care. 2. Yes and I care. 3. No but I care. 4. No and I don't care.
  8. Check out the LTT audio board recommended gear thread. It's pinned and has lots of headphone and some microphone suggestions.
  9. I recommend the HD558. I don't recommend closed backs unless you need the sound isolation and the "in your head" sort of sound. If you do need closed backs, I recommend the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro. The Audio Technica ATH-AD900X is also a good open back but it may be a little bit fatiguing over a long period of time.
  10. Gonna have to call you out on a couple of factors. 1. Why are some near identical same model PSUs on different tiers? For example, all EVGA G2 PSUs are from the same OEM, yet the 1000W and 1300W units are tier 3 as compared to the other G2s which are tier 1. Their Jonnyguru reviews, given that he's reviewed enough of the units to make clear judgement, shows little to no disparity in the quality of the units between wattages. 2. Why bother listing wattages if you're gonna miss out some? The Corsair RMx series is an example. 3. I flat out disagree with some. If most of the information is from Jonnyguru, then the HXi series should be tier 1. 4. Way too confusing. What is the EVGA "G" series? Is it the GS series? I doubt so since there's only a 1050W version and not a 1000W version. 5. You're missing some. What about the Cooler Master V1200 Platinum? Or the Corsair RMi series?
  11. Since I haven't gotten a reply on the video thread about it, doew the exact method Linus use help with NAS? A pre built NAS, not FreeNAS or something like that. Since most NASs only have a single Gigabit LAN port, will the NAS's ethernet connection be a bottleneck?
  12. To clarify, does this help if you have a standard NAS? Not talking about a DIY FreeNAS solution or something like that. Just pre built, empty NAS enclosures. Since after all, most of them only have 1 LAN port, so would bandwidth between the NAS and computer increase, or would the NAS's ethernet connection be a bottleneck?
  13. My recommendation is the Fractal Design Define R5.
