  1. I would say Mirror's Edge has quite an intense story and the atmosphere is both amazing and definitely not "happy". Also check out Portal / Portal 2 if you havent already. Allthough its more sort of a puzzle game the story is gripping (it first seems to be happy, but the situation the charackter is in really isnt). Another series i can highly recommend is Assassins Creed. Except for AC4 all parts of it add to a huge story having substories for each part. You empathize with the main character fastly, it isn't "happy", its just epic, however it also is 3rd person and might feel like a traditional RPG (but really depends on the way you play it).
  2. http://www.amazon.com/QNIX-QX2710-Evolution-LED-Monitor/dp/B00BUI44US those are 27" and pretty good (considering the low price). if your 200 refers to 200€ its actually pretty close. on ebay they are around 250€ incl. international shipping. they also are perfect pixel versions (no bright pixels and a maximum of a single black pixel) and come with 1 year warranty.
  3. 1200mAh? thats ridiculous. on most smartphones thats only half a charge. if you don't need the small form factor stick with one of the solutions which are already out there this one for example: http://www.amazon.com/Portable-External-Technology-Smartphones-lightning/dp/B00EF1OGOG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395699495&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+6000 it's only 30 bucks, has the same 2 amp charging speed as the lithium card and has 6000mAh (or two galaxy s4 / three iphone charges). it isn't that much bigger either. i got a first gen anker power bank a while ago and i'm still very happy with both the build quality and the performance. it also meets all european (and german) security standarts which are pretty high. however if you want something to carry around in your wallet, you might try out the lithium card (and maybe post your experiences on the forum )

    Keycaps

god damn it i thought those where basically the same (sorry for the misleading information  ). done some further research, seems like the DCS ones might have a slightly lower profile and a steeper angle. please let us know wether they fit

    Keycaps

here you can buy quite a lot of different keycaps: http://www.keycapsdirect.com/key-capsinventory.php but be carefull as they count the rows differently: http://www.keycapsdirect.com/images/key-caps/dcsrowguide.pdf you would need a 1.5x row 4 dcs keycap. as you can see below, they don't have those out of ABS http://www.keycapsdirect.com/inventorypdfs/DCSABSInventory.pdf however they have those as PBT caps: http://www.keycapsdirect.com/inventorypdfs/DCSPBTInventory.pdf check out part numbers 303300 and 303083. both are 1.5x black row 4 blank keycaps. i'm not quite sure why there are two different part numbers, maybe its because there are two different shapes for row 4 keys (http://www.keycapsdirect.com/key-caps.php). pricing is 1$ each plus shipping (should be about 4$ if you live in the united states). maybe you could order two of each part number and check wether they fit. if they don't, your loss is as little as 8$.
  6. unfortunately the german layout includes "Ä", "Ü" and "Ö". also the entire number row is different. would you mind posting a picture of your ducky with the translucent keycaps in use? i'm planning to get those for my shine 3
  7. hi there, I'm looking for dark translucent keycaps for cherry mx switches. i don't want them to have any printing at all. as i only need ten R3's, eight R2's and seven R1's (all 1x1, two of the R2's as "Line" version for "f" and "j" key) , a full set would not be necessary. so far i only found the translucent caps at http://www.maxkeyboard.com/keyboard-parts/key-cap/full-keycap-sets.html, but those are full sets and would not fit the german keyboard layout due to their inscription. as always, your help here is highly appreciated
  8. steelseries sensei raw would be a perfect match, unfortunately it is 50€ (almost 70 USD) in germany.. pricing on tech stuff in different countries seems to be so random sometimes.
  9. hi there, so i am looking for a rather cheap wired laser mouse. as i'm more of a casual gamer i do not need any additional buttons and stuff, however i would like to be able to change CPI on the fly. furthermore the mouse should definitely have a symmetric layout and a sleek and simple design. so far i've only found optical mice fitting both my budget and my requirements, but i really want that high surface compatibility of the laser. feel free to post both your suggestions / recommandations and warnings (if you had very bad experiences with particular products). your help here is highly appreciated
  10. try to reinstall the usb 3.0 drivers. have you tries power intense devices only (external drives etc)? those might not get enough power to run properly.
  11. 2x 50 bucks IKEA chair. one at home, one at parents home. comfy enough for the money =)
  12. usually manufacturers measure a kilobyte as 1000byte, a megabyte as 1000kb, a gig as 1000mb and so on. however, in pretty much any operating system, a kilobyte equals 1024byte, a megabyte equals 1024kb and so on. so those 2gb actually are only about 1,86GB in your OS. i'd guess the ipods OS itself is only about 100-200mb, so all in all the real storage might be about 1,7GB. And definitely less than 1,86GB.
  13. Wow. this looks ridiculously similar to a Ducky Keyboard they showed at computex 2013 but never actually published. remember this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb5eNzm7oiY#t=34 ? even the font is exactly the same. i bet it is the same thing, so you probably could expect outstanding quality.
  14. i'd definitely recommend you to either get a key switch sampler or go to a local store to try all different types. here are the most common switch types briefly explained: MX Blue: clicky sound, tactile feel (not linear) MX Brown: no clicky sound, tactile feel (not linear) MX Red: no clicky sound, linear (no tactile feel) all of those are rather light weight keys. there also are: MX Green: heavier version of MX Blue MX Clear: heavier version of MX Brown MX Black: heavier version of MX Red I guess you wouldnt want Clears or Greens since they basically suck at double tapping. Maybe you should check out Blacks. Heavy and fast. However, for typing I'd rather switch to Blues or Browns. Due to their tactile pressure point you are less likely to mistype and they feel a little more similar to rubber domes.
  15.
