  1. Hello people of the LinusTechTip-forum! A few months ago I won a MasterKeys Pro S and I msut say I love it. One thing though is the RGB profiles, I haven't succeeded in making a layout I really love. I've tried every colour but just can't seem to get that amazing look I've been dreaming about before I had an RGB keyboard. So I have a couple of requests/questions for you: 1. Share your RGB layouts (Not necessarily on a MasterKeys keyboard) 2. Is it possible to cennect the RGB layout to a game, like you can do with steelseries headsets etc If you could do this it would be amazing! And I don't think I'm the only person with this thoughts so homefully this post can give something to more people than just me!
  2. RIP... They are the best. Why can't you though?
  3. I have the Supernova 750W and it's really good! I can totally recommend EVGA PSU:s
  4. Hello and thank you for reading this post, I have a "little" problem with my home network. I've had an Airport Extreme in my house for about 1 year and there haven't been any problems with it untill now. I've had like 10 phones/tablets and 3 computers on it without any problems. But now a problem has occurred. A cuople of weeks ago I rebuilt my computer and put a new Motherboard in it, this apparently was a problem for my network because now I have frequent crashes when I start my computer. I'm not sure it's because the motherboard though but that's my strongest guess after weeks of investigating. I have a ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 motherboard. What I mean with crash: 1. It doesn't happend right away it takes about 1-5 minutes untill I can notice that the computer is offline (The Ethernet icon does not indicate) 2. The Airport Extreme does not indicate on anything, with that I mean theat the light on the router is still green. When I check the routers status on the Airport app on my computer or iPhone the status of the router is green but it has no connection to the internet. 3. When I then check the modem I get the indication that the router has no internet connection. I first thought that it might be the Internet provider but I called them and that was not the issue. 4. The duration of the crash is very varying, it can be from 5 minutes up to 1 hour. And when it comes back up it's also very shifting, sometimes it stayes up for 2 days and sometimes it keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes. As I said in the paragraph above I think the problem is located in the motherboard. My only clue is that the crashes are connected with me starting up my computer. This problem was not a thing untill I rebuilt my computer. This issue is really annoying because sometimes when I log on to my compter I really need the internet (obviously) and this can really ruin a night of gaming. My question: What should I do? maybe there's someone out there who has or have had the same problem. Should I reset the the routers settings? Are there any settings I should fix on my M/B? My network knowledge is very basic just keep that in mind!
  5. I'd love to have a new keyboard, that's the next thing on my to-buy list. But as a student the problem is in the money. I've watched your video about custom keycarps and I really like the way you can custom mechanical keyboards. I now have the worst keyboard ever
  6. I actually just upgraded to a GTX 970 from Zotac. Haven't clocked it yet but I will and then I can inform you. Which zotac 970 do you have?
  7. Yea I think the best bet is a custom made vinyl decal/sticker. Shouldn't be so hard to find a local place that does that. Maybe even you know someone who can do it for you. I have a sticker machine myself and I've used custom stickers in a few of my builds.
  8. Hello! Me and a friend are arguing about what headset to buy. He loves qpad and I love Steelseries. What do you think? Which headset is the best of these two?
  9. Where can you see this? I don't know very much what to look for.
  10. Yea sorry about the lack of information. It's an information board so they want, food schedule, news, announcements, and information about projects etc. So there will be some photos with text and some with just text. They want it to look simple but at the same time esthetic and professional.
  11. Hello, My school just got a couple of digital informationboards put up around the school. The IT-person on my school is not very good at her job and she comes to me a lot of times asking me about things. A few months ago I went to Tanzania to film and photograph for a company and as my laptop was broken I asked if I could get administrator access on my school coputer so I could install photoshop. They gave me admin access and I'm now officially the coolest kid on school, lol haha. Anyways the other day the IT girl came to me and asked me if I could do the graphics for the information board. As she remembered that I use photoshop "Of course" I said, without thinking and now I'm sitting here with water over my head. I though graphics couldn't be harder than editing my photos but it sure was. I could just tell her that I don't have time and that it was a little overkill for me but that would kill my reputation as the guy who knows shit and I don't want that haha. Anyways if anyone know some good templates, want to share some easy tricks or just has some spare time and good knowledge of ps this is your time to shine.
  12. I'm thinking that I might but the cables and then save some money and just replace that one fan. I can live with it for some time and I think the cables will make it look really really good. Now the biggest thing that's bothering me is that the computer has just stand still for 3 weeks...
  13. You make a good point there. The cables really makes the build look very good. Although I would be stoked just by seeing your components! Anyways, the gray fan is really bothering me so it's hard to choose.
  14. Hello, I have have lite of an dilemma here. I've modded my PC in a blue theme. I have a custom painted 780T and the components and the waterfluid is blue. The thing is that I ordered fittings from EK, the order is now 3 weeks late and they have reduced the price with 100% so now I have some spare money to spend on the PC. Here is where the dilemma occurres, what should I spend the money on. There are a couple of choices I've scaled it down to, CableMod for the whole PC (now I have the standard black cables for EVGA Supernova), LED-lights for the computer or 3 Corsair AF120 fans (now I have the standard fans, 2x120 with white LEDs and 1x120 gray). So I figured the best way to get to a solution is to ask my fellow modders at LinusTechTips-forum. So what do you think? Maybe you have some other ideas. Budget: ~65€
