  1. i know it's the first option. i appreciate everyone's help. guess windows 8 just doesn't have the option within itself..thanks guys
  2. i actually really like this one.
  3. the change doesn't allow me to do what I want with Counter Strike GO in windows 10. The 4:3 resolution in game will not stretch like it will in windows 8.1. Apparently it has something to do with the AMD drivers for windows 10 and it hasn't been fixed even after all this time.
  4. Most of us know what the Windows 8 start menu looks like...it's like a screen. There are results online explaining that you can download some things to change it and make it a menu that pops up and looks nice rather than the original windows 8 screen. I was wondering if there was a way to change it from a screen to a bar (like in windows 7) without having to download anything. If not, can any of you guys recommend a downloadable add on/extension that can make it so I have a start bar rather than a start "Screen". I don't like the windows 8 start menu :*( Running Windows 8.1 64 bit. I don't like the first pic. Prefer the second.
  5. welp nevermind I suppose Guess i'm gonna be forced to use Power DVD that's been giving me some issues as of late -.-
  6. I think Final Mouse may have already contacted you about reviewing their devices. They've had some controversy about the marketing and people began to question their products. I love their products but it would be nice to have someone that gives their honest opinion about their products seeing as the only people currently boasting their products are Pros being paid to do so. Would be nice
  7. I think I remember reading something or seeing a video about being able to change the way your current graphics card looks simply by changing out the body/shell of it with one that is compatible with the GPU. I have a Sapphire R9 290 tri-x yellow exteriored GPU that doesn't match the best with my red/black/white set up. I'm just trying to see if it's possible to somehow get it to look red without having to risk painting it, although i'm not completely against the idea of painting it myself. I just wouldn't know which type of paint is safe or best to use anyone know if there are any replacement bodys/shells for this GPU? I had no luck looking around myself. If anything, which type of paint should I just to paint the exterior? Thanks
  8. I'm just sitting here wondering if I can somehow get the English / USA music from the DBZ blu-ray to download as the default from my own blu-ray disc I paid for onto my own PC for personal use. When I back it up, it only gives me the japanese music with english and no way to access the set up options after it's on my PC. It would just be nice to not have to keep going to the shelf to grab a disc whenever I need to switch them up is all.
  9. Is it illegal to download the blu-rays from the CDs i've purchased for like $20-$40 a pop onto my own PC for more convenient access?
  10. Any blu-rays I want on my PC are going to be from the discs that I already paid for and own. I just want to get them on my PC if possible. I don't think this is illegal? I know how I can get my blu-ray movies onto my PC using programs. But what I am unable to figure out is how to get something like a Dragon Ball Z blu-ray season to get onto my PC, but still giving me the option to listen/watch it in the American Version. By default these blu-ray seasons play in english, but with the original japanese music. I wanted to see if it was in any way possible to get the blu-ray to somehow download onto my PC and get it to play in the USA music version. I use power DVD 15 to actually watch them without having to download them which is nice. Once youre in the main screen you can easily go into settings and change the audio to play in USA version music. Only thing is, when you use other programs to download the blu-ray onto your PC, it'll play it in it's default audio (english, with japanese music) help?
  11. I've never encountered this issue before. This PC is my build and has worked fine for the past year and 8 months. Same motherboard as well. I would assume they are supposed to last longer than this.
  12. Just toggled with pretty much every basic setting within the audio device propertied and it did nothing. Although turning the microphone boost up did almost make me go deaf (exaggerating) but it did really increase the static by a lot.
  13. I once tried the sound blaster z sound card with terrible results. Randomly when changing audio settings in their software or in a counter strike game there would be an explosion of static bursting into the headset that could not be turned off unless I unplugged my headset. Even turning windows volume down did absolutely nothing. I received a 2nd sound blaster card with the same results....So im wondering if maybe my motherboard is starting to act up?
  14. The gain is not all the way up. Nothing in windows audio settings has changed. The only thing that has changed from the last time I have used my mic was that I upgraded to windows 10 a few days ago and haven't used a mic until just today.
