  1. Definitely my current solution, I try to push ULTRA when I can, but I lower it when it affects my FPS too much. I am looking to spend money so I don't have to compromise.
  2. Budget (including currency): $500 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: WoT, PUBG, DiRT, Assetto Corsa, MFSX, general student/sysadmin usage. Other details: Current Specs MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC Ryzen 5 1600 AF 16Gb DDR4 2400Mhz 480Gb Kingston SSD GTX 1650 Super Not sure PSU, a modular EVGA PSU at least gold cert 2x 1080p 75hz monitors Coolermaster Elite 110 case I am looking to get better frames in games, but I don't want to spend a ton of money. Budget says $500 but I don't want to spend that if I don't have to. Mainly I want to get better frames in PUBG, in firefights frames drop to close to 30fps. Settings ULTRA all games. I am not interested in used, looking to just buy from amazon. Please give me some advice, thanks!
  3. Nope and either way it wasn't an hdd it was a samsung m.2, I just added a few sata ssds to see if that would solve it
  4. Just playing on my own machine, local world w
  5. It doesn't matter the render distance I am getting. Once the chunks are loaded they are fine, but the second that I have to load new ones it poops itself. Even at 12+ chunks I will get similar frames if I had it down to 4
  6. Right I have some older i5s that can run it no probs, with similar settings. Honestly its just chunk loading, if I am not loading new chunks it gets 120+fps. I wonder if something like optifine or whatever its called will fix it
  7. True enough I guess, I just had higher expectations for it. Its 2022 for crying out loud and it can't run minecraft?? lol I think its a 3200 16gb dual channel kit. Not super nice but doesn't seem to bottleneck it at all in game.
  8. I have a ryzen 3 3200g in my system, and whenever I play minecraft it maxes out to 100% and I am unable to load chunks seamlessly. I tried adding a video card, replacing the RAM, adding new SSD, nothing works. I ran passmark software and it puts all my parts about where I expect them to line up. All drivers are up to date and I have reinstalled windows at least 4 times on separate drives. Is the 3200g so weak it can't even load chunks playing minecraft? Should I put in something like a ryzen 5 4500? Any input is appreciated.
  9. Its really all that is needed. I can tell you right now that the RAM probably isn't the issue as it isn't what is spiking. It runs consistently and equivalent to the load.
  10. Really simple games like Minecraft and Sims. She can't play those without the stuttering.
  11. It is a 2x8Gb Gskill kit. I don't think that the 6500XT is the issue, infact I have noticed better frames when playing games like Minecraft, which is all we are trying to do lol. These spikes to 100% CPU usage is super annoying.
  12. Yes forgot to add this CPU spikes to 100% then drops
  13. Hi I am trying to figure out why my wife's PC is stuttering while under load. It should have more than enough power to do what I am asking, and for like 90% of the time it runs at a high FPS. It will just reduce down to like 1FPS and then jump back to normal. Super annoying! I origionally thought it was because there was no GPU, but even after installing this 6500XT there are still issues. BIOS, drivers etc. are all up to date. We built this PC a few months ago, but haven't had time to really use it up until recently because we are both navy. specs are as follows: Ryzen 3200G 16Gb RAM 6500XT 1TB Samsung M.2 idk which one
  14. I will be deploying soon, and I am looking to get a laptop that I can put movies on, and play some very very light games like Minecraft. I am not looking to spend more than $550 after tax, and looking to only shop on amazon and newegg. All I really care about is having good battery life, good screen size/res, and fast storage. What can you recommend in this price range? Thanks
