  1. i found Qustodio but it costs... but works great. can block porno and unwanted stuff including automatic time limiter.
  2. Im looking for something similar to as netcafes use, yet very simple to use. The idea is that the kids PC will have "case by case" amount of time for them to use and i could add time remotely from an app if possible on my phone. I would set up admin account and then an account for the kids, but when the time is finished i want it to log off and close all programs that were in use. Ive tried windows version of account management and frankly its horribly laggy and when time ran out everything stayed open so i they were on youtube it kept on playing.>.< any ideas ?
  3. Thank you, i downloaded FTP program and now im getting from 50-80 mb/s
  4. @MrUnknownEMC i cant seem to be able to open iperf on my pc. even if i run it as admin. I found a different program As i understand this hardware wise nothing is wrong. Also ive tried teracopy but that hasnt helped at all.
  5. im trying to transfer 500mb-2gb files. Like that ?
  6. I finally set up my system at home with several computers. When i was using my router i only got 100mbit connection transfer speed. (up to 12mb per second) Now ive installed a 24port gigabit switch from planet and networking and the speed is appalling. I bought brand new Cat6 SFTP cables for everything and my transfer speed is not even 1mb per second >.< Ive checked both pc's that im transferring between and both have win 10 and state "1000/1000 mbps link speed.. Description: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V Status: Operational Maximum transmission unit: 1500 Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 1000/1000 (Mbps) DHCP enabled: Yes Network name: Network Network category: Private Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Connected to Internet / Connected to unknown network any clue what this can be ?
  7. why always this stupid twitter requirement >.< what about us that dont use twitter....
  8. id like to upgrade my 460 in my amd pc for a little bit better gfx card
  9. 1, Looks good for home cinema or epic gaming 2. god damn twitter >.<.... FB is more then enough to deal with.
  10. worth a mention on the Li-po batteries that they are highly toxic and if you puncture them they will go up in smoke. so be careful handeling them.
  11. obviously Using incognito mode and "try" to sign in to google and typing my e-mail adress including the dot ... will give me MY log in... wtf ?
  12. on google ? oh btw i forgot im using 2part authenticator system hmm let me rephrase that... MY e-mail address is nowhere to be seen in the header... only that single dot in the middle is the difference though
  13. I keep getting these weird e-mails that are in French that "i have logged in opera on windows" To clarify a little bit lets say my e-mail address is asdqwe@gmail.com the thing is looking at the details in the header its sent to asd.qwe@gmail.com and then in the "box" with picture of someone his name (lets say its asdfgh qwerty and then his e-mail address is asdfghqwerty@gmail.com ) so basically his e-mail address is his names combined but the first 3 letters of each name is my e-mail address without the dot. So my question is, is this some kind of hacking or phishing or something ? OR is this a fuck up on google cause of some dot ?

  15. Thank you for that extensive help and i finally figured out this iperf3 and this is the results from that http://puu.sh/njZo4/e69f66b2b0.png Since i posted the original post ive acquired a laptop so i could do this iperf test. if i read this correctly i should be quadrupling my speed as stated in the 1st post considering the file transfer. I also tested teracopy and must say i really like that Ive tried to force 1gbit connection on both pc and NAS and jumbo frame but the forced 1gbit connection only slowed it down and it became unstable transfer rate. Im thinking there is some fault on the NAS since a friend of mine has the exact same nas and exact same hdd's in it and hes getting up towards 70 MB per second transfer rate. I just set up shared folder on each pc and i was able to get 100MB per second transfer but im unable to get that to my NAS
