  1. Okay, so I am sure that I am not the first to ask this, but maybe it isn't a very common request... I have built my own computer, have all the parts etc, however I am not the best with getting the cable management right, getting the watercooling tubes in the right places (maybe I would like to hard line instead too?) and was wondering if anybody in the London, UK area was VERY good at this kind of thing (with evidence) and would be happy to build my PC and make it immaculate for me, (obvs lunch and some ££ coming your way!). Let me know if you are interested. For parts list, see my profile.
  2. Where might I be able to get this? I am based in UK too. I am not sure I like the idea of using no more nails and then having an impossible time removing the strips from my rig at a later date!
  3. Hi all, I have recently purchased Phanteks RGB strips however my case is aluminium and therefore the magnets won't stick (I knew this before hand) and I am trying to use the included 3M adhesive however the strip seems insistent not to stick to the 3M sticky material. I have also tried using magnetic tape that I have however the magnets in the strip don't seem strong enough to attach to the tape. Any ideas as to what to do?
  4. I actually came online now to look for any new Ryzen Micro ATX boards. I have the MSI Mortar B350M and it is (in my opinion) by far the best Micro ATX AM4 board on the market at the moment. More connectors than pretty much any other. I really do with there were some higher spec boards available, such as ASUS ROG or Workstation boards. For me, the downsides of the Mortar: - The BIOS is not up to scratch yet - The only LEDs onboard are red and the Mystic Light software isn't as good as the ASUS Aura software. - Lack of high end features available on higher priced motherboards such as MSI's M.2 shield. - Small heatsinks on MOSFET and chipset, could be bigger and lead to better cooling abilities.
  5. So basically something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Male-Female-Extension-Cable/dp/B00NH13UFQ ?
  6. Okay, the Lian Li PC-O7SX has won my choice, I just saw another watercooled build log and it is freaking gorgeous: Taken from here and here.
  7. Thanks, I just saw one build with watercooling here, doesn't look bad at all! Will look into it. Unfortunately that is too small! I need a full ATX case.
  8. Hi guys, I have recently moved to a new house and my new desk is smaller than my old one and my current case (Coolermaster HAF X) is both too big and too ugly to keep... I am looking at getting a new case, money isn't much of an issue, but I want something that is smaller than my HAF X and significantly prettier. Furthermore, it has to be able to hold a watercooled system, as I am looking to replace my very old SLI GTX670 with a GTX1080 and watercool the whole system. I looked at the Lian Li PC-O7SW which looks incredible, but not too sure about watercooling, maybe it is too small?
  9. This looks perfect: https://www.amazon.co.uk/LINDY-Port-KVM-Switch-Audio/dp/B00X3XQXVG/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1474200293&sr=1-6&keywords=lindy+usb+switch Shame about the 1-2 month wait...
  10. I don't really need any display stuff as my monitors have enough inputs and it isn't a pain to change the input on the display, this is more for the USB keyboard and mouse (annoyingly the keyboard has 2x USB...)
  11. Okay great, can you recommend any good brands for one?
  12. Thanks DrMikeNZ, but I don't need to use them concurrently, I just want the ability to use my laptops with my monitors and keyboard without having to unplug the keyboard etc.
  13. The reason that I have to use all three is that due to security reasons, I am not allowed to share my personal documents from the work laptop to any other computer and some of the software that I have for work doesn't run well at all when using remote desktop (again this is a security thing implemented by my company). Then I have to use both my personal laptop and the desktop as when I am travelling, I have mirrors of my personal documents on both the ultrabook and the desktop and need to ensure that everything is up to date and synced at a moments notice if I suddenly have to travel. DO they do KVMs which don't have the extra stuff, I really only need the USBs.
  14. I went through a similar thing the other week, but then I saw this: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-850-Evo-250GB-vs-Samsung-750-EVO-250GB/2977vsm71929
